O Canada! The true North strong and free. 1-0 before it even gets to minute three. Im sure you must have watched the Germany Spain game monte. I have to say , i have been watching world cups since mexico 86 , and that literally is the worst German team i have ever seen .
What is going on? I wonder if the amount of foreigners in the german leagues are now starting to impact on the previous conveyor belt of german footballing talent.?
Whatever it is , one of the rocks of world cup tournaments are now at their lowest ebb. FFS , even west germany had a better team than the current "entire"germany.

It's a young team. That's all I've got. They do have one world class player Musailas. Like us they are really missing a midfield powerhouse. The German pundit on TV was even saying he'd take Harry Kane who I think is past his sell by date. Another pundit asked which German players would make the England team and only Musailas made the grade. They still have a good chance of progressing though thanks to an average looking Spain performance yesterday. Germany just have to beat Costa Rica and hope Japan don't beat Spain. If Japan scrape a draw it's down to goal difference. |

Don't know about that Thomas Klose must rank amonst the top all star german players.

Germany will beat costa rice unless there is another fluke result ( costa rica are the worst team i have ever saw at a world cup , why arent they put into a play off with a euro team?) and spain wil probably beat japan , but thats by no means certain.

Well most players fall short if you compare them to Messi or Ronaldo. Yes, no top centre forward, that's why they'd even take Kane. Yes I think they will still get out of the group stage despite losing to Japan but after that they have as much chance of winning as they did at Stalingrad. |

Yes, I was rather hoping that Canada would beat them as revenge for Croatia beating England in the semi final of the last WC but alas Croatia simply overpowered them despite Canadas early goal. So far only France have managed to pull off two decent performances. Let's see how Brazil get on without an injured Neymar. Will it be Naemore? |

Yea I know Im just making the point about is remark about Foreign players spoiling the german game . well that was me , and its merely an observation and thinking out loud possibilites of why ze germuns , normally a dead cert for playing well at a world cup , are so bad?
England allegedly have the best league in the world ,full of foreigners , but have the worst international footballing record among what is considered the top world footballing nations.
Could there be a correllation as im suggesting with ze germuns , or is it something else?

France look the best european , if not overall team so far. The french are eccentrically brilliant , its normally thier temperament and wether or not they decide to turn up on matchday that lets them down.

Percival had no choice. With the sinking of their only battleship in the area and no carriers to protect their remaining ships there was no chance of reinforcement or evacuation. Kane was a good player and still is a decent captain but he's well past his best. |

Kane was a good player and still is a decent captain but he's well past his best. i think thats more to do with sturggling at a club he doesnt want to be at , and wont win any trophies at. |
