The tragedy occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning off the coast of France after around 70 people tried to get into a small boat launched from a beach, according to local media reports. One other person is believed to have been injured during the incident in Wimereux, Pas-de-Calais. It comes as migrants crossed the English Channel for the first time in 2024 on Saturday. A group of people believed to be migrants were brought ashore in Dover, Kent, yesterday morning - linkAs ever this boat full of illegals capsized in French waters, just off Boulogne, but they were picked up by UK Border Force vessels and ferried to England where they're now being treated like honoured guests, rather than criminals.

The thing is Parliament decided to change the face of the UK several decades ago, followed with much gusto by the EU, the Westminster party have been following it ever since, it is only the majority of voters who don't like it. So eventually the Westminster party have to come up with some plan that makes it look like they are on the side of the majority, which of course they never were or likely to be, it is much easier to wind up minority groups and tell them everyone else has a problem.

Do you doubt the UK Border Force ferried illegals from French waters to England, again.

In his zeal to land one on the hated unelected dictators in Brussels I think RR is garbling reports of two completely separate incidents: 1. A boat capsized near the French coast with four dead and the survivors taken to Calais and Boulogne. 2. A different boat was intercepted somewhere in the Channel and its occupants brought to England on a Border Force vessel.
Said dictators had of course nothing to do with either.

Dan, in an effort to defend your wonderful EU you fail to address the point: the thread title. EU allow more illegals to drown in English channel...
Which is perfectly accurate.

Because in the report you so kindly linked to and I read: French paper La Voix du Nord said 72 people, including 10 children, were rescued and taken to Calais while one person was taken to hospital in Boulogne.
I have no idea what you heard on the news bulletin, but I'd hazard a guess it was on GB News?

Did the French paper you quote mention anything about the French government refusing to stop hundreds of thousands of illegals paying people smugglers in France for a place in a cross channel dingy? Listen, and this is to all you spineless lefties out there. The reason illegals are drowning in the channel is because the EU/French authorities say the UK must be punished for Brexit. They could stop it, but choose not to.

What on earth has a coach crash in Italy got to do with the EU/French allowing illegals to drag dinghies down French beaches bound for England?

Nothing whatsoever.
But you appear to believe that when one group of foreigners drowns in the channel it's because the EU 'allows' it to happen but you don't seem ready to believe that when a different group die in a coach crash in Italy that is also something the EU has 'allowed' to happen.
Not very rational is it.

Not very rational is it. You compare a coachload of tourists in Italy, to a boatload of illegals in the channel! And in the next breath you talk of rational. Dan, are you quite well?
