so because you can't argue against the point , all these pages and posts on , you claim to forget or not know what the original argument was? Re read back through the thread and find my Johan Lamont link. come back when you have a coherent rejoinder. IF you have positive inequivalent information that proves your point just copy and past, its as simple as that. After your numerous twists and turns you should know by now just exactly what your point is. Johann Lamont resigns as leader of Scottish Labour party
Lamont’s decision comes as she accuses colleagues of trying to run Scotland ‘like a branch office of London’ www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/oct/24/johann-lamont-resigns-scottish-labour-party-leaderyou know what my original point was , that labour in scotland are controlled by London labour , and are not free to make their own decisions.

And unicorns are flying around the corner with angels flying out of their arses. Still living in that "alternate reality" I see. You made a hash of that thread too. What irony, lol

It seems to me that the Major Problem for Labour politicians was Labour's trouncing by the SNP. -- "I think power should be devolved from Holyrood to communities." ( such a move was not Labour Party policy). --"But colleagues need to realise that the focus of Scottish politics is now Holyrood, not Westminster.” ( but that did not include non-Labour policies --- don't like Labour policies? then either work to change them or move on). --"The Glasgow Pollok MSP has represented her constituency since 1999, taking over as leader in December 2011 after the party’s bruising defeat by the SNP in the Scottish parliament elections that year". ( the party’s bruising defeat by the SNP). --"Her leadership was called into question during the referendum campaign, which proved a damaging experience for an already struggling party. And they were just looking for excuses and something to blame". ( exactly). Political discontent after the thrashing by the SNP which itself was boosted by the existence of a Scottish Parliament and the fall of New Labour --- caused by the International Financial Meltdown. It seems that now there is some discontent with the SNP, so things might be changing which might be why you are so hung up on attacking Labour.

Germany's exit from EU would 'ruin' the economy as fresh calls for Dexit grow...... Germany's Finance Minister, Christian Lindner, has issued a stark warning against the possibility of the country leaving the European Union, claiming that it would have disastrous consequences for the German economy. The comments come in the midst of renewed calls for a "Dexit" from the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.

It is a re-post of an Express article. I'm not against the idea of Germany leaving the EU, but I can't see it happening.

Surprise surprise. That is the party Farage has been playing with. Please dont be so stupid as to think what they say reflects the entire German character.

From your link: " Now, EU-based banks and financial institutions must have active accounts with European clearing houses, to handle categories of derivatives that the EU’s regulators have deemed “systemic”." Please explain how this supports your claim that the EU is "backing down" .
