The press freedom group says the conflict in Gaza is the deadliest for journalists it has ever recorded.
“We’re outraged by the high price, I would say the extreme price, that Palestinian journalists are paying,” the CPJ’s Carlos Martinez de la Serna told Al Jazeera, adding that there was a “clear prevailing sense of impunity.”
“We need international, independent investigations to assess all these killings and those responsible need to be accountable,” said de la Serna. “It’s essential to remember that journalists under international humanitarian law are civilians, and the obligation on all parties involved in the war is to protect them, and what we’re seeing, is that journalists are being killed.” This report shows that the evil people who have currently highjacked control of the West since 9/11 … behave no differently to Russians or Azov/Ukrainians, Palestinians or Muslims … equally as bad as each other. His family had been seeking refuge in Nuseirat camp in the centre of Gaza when their home was bombed by Israeli forces, killing his wife, Um Hamza, his 15-year-old son, Mahmoud, his seven-year-old daughter, Sham, and his grandson, Adam, who died in hospital hours later.
Calls for accountability
The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said it was “deeply saddened” and called for an independent investigation into the attack.

I will stick my neck out here and state that I believe personally … that this ‘collective’ … that ‘stood down’ for over 6 hours whilst festival goers and kibbutz farmers hid in scrub and bled to death while the IDF were nowhere to be seen. … THEY let this happen. It makes one wonder why hostage families praise the IDF over and over … on Israeli TV … when their behaviour should be severely questioned and condemned! … And why are no Western journalists picking up on this aspect of this whole sorry genocidal mess?? … the fact this Al Jazeera journalist’s family was TARGETED and wiped out in the earliest strikes of this pre-planned intensive Israeli offensive launched in October ‘23? … hardly coincidence Al Jazeera journalists are being eradicated by Israelis … Zionists have always wanted an excuse to eradicate both Gaza and Al Jazeara … and the journalism of RT.
