Tesco's raided by four yobs as horrified shoppers look onThis would not have happened a few years ago. These days entitled chavs openly stealing from shops often on an industrial scale is so routine it's almost unnewsworthy, partly because the police don't care, and thanks to mass immigration, standards in many parts of the country have gone to rat shit. And before some spineless lefty starts bleating about 'hungry people forced to steal food' I feel obliged to point out the glaringly obvious fact that booze and sports gear are not food. These two cases are from the wonderfully multicultural Londonistan, but anyone with access to google will see it's much the same in other areas that are blessed with high levels of multiculturalism. www.gbnews.com/news/tesco-cricklewood-london-alcohol-unit-raided-policewww.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12386757/Mayor-urges-people-not-Oxford-Street-amid-social-media-nonsense.html

Supermarket chains will eventually move out of areas where profit is hit by theft leaving those areas without an affordable food supply . Residents will be left with shopping at the guarded doorway of the local convenience store , nice .
I was in the local supermarket yesterday and there were a group of women crowding around the fresh meats ,it was obvious the girl at the front was loading up on the 'free' stuff . They will be the first to complain when they don't have a supermarket in the local area

Did you see any action at that point? Or, was the whole 'obvious' happening merely your fevered imagination going into overdrive? Anyway, it might have just been an innocent pile o wifies haein a wee blether. Why jump to the extreme conclusion you did?

Have you seen this? Just like shoplifters these chavs don't care who see's them. On this occasion some chav stole a Bansky in London. He did it in broad daylight and in full view of dozens of people. This type of chav has no fear of the police, no fear of authority, and obviously no fear of any consequences because punishment is almost non existent. Incredibly this particular chav has been arrested, I suppose on this occasion even the Met had to admit there was enough evidence to arrest him. He has been charged with theft and criminal damage. It will be interesting to see what punishment, if any, he gets. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12893709/banksy-new-artwork-south-london-drones-traffic-stop.html

The guy standing by the door on minimum wage thats there for insurance purposes rather than his willingness to stop anyone . Its obvious whats going on ,no imagination is needed . There is a feral underclass of people who just do as they please in our capital city with little chance of any comeback from the law . Mass thieving of shops is just a small part of the problem

Then they'll have people dotted about on the shop floor, in touch with the screen watchers who will alert them of suspicious shoppers. Even local convenience shops have CCTV. Its ludicrous to think supermarkets don't.

Why isn't Banksy arrested for criminal damage?

I would suggest though that Tesco or Aldi don't operate like M15 ,they don't have 'people watching the action' or people dotted around the shop floor ,its laughable to suggest they would go to the cost of that . What they have is a guy on the door from some security agency that has little to no experience in retail security ,he is not going to be rugby tackling anyone trying to walk out the door with an out of date steak and kidney pie .The cctv is there for reference more than monitoring and again a condition of the insurance policy

The level of security will be dependent on the level of losses the company has to bear as a result of the hungry helping themselves. If you think there is no more security than a guy at the door then I reckon you are sadly mistaken. Also, it is illegal to sell 'an out of date steak and kidney pie'. If my local shop has CCTV monitoring, I reckon Tesco, ASDA and the rest would have too.

They are told NEVER try to stop them . We had shoplifters take a trolley out if the store with bottles of booze .

I have a friend who works for a major supermarket - they are often on duty overseeing the self serve checkouts and are told not to challenge anyone they see scanning expensive loose produce as cheap potatoes or carrots
