Dub, if such a conspiracy existed, they'd have your IP address, phone number, GPS coordinates and would know everything about you including how to silence you. Bleating about it online, on a freeware forum, would not be a sensible idea as it would get you tracked and killed if the conspiracy theory were true. When the device has a soldered on battery, how can you be sure you turned it off? How do you know that you didn't simply turn the screen and a few functions off, whilst leaving it in surveillance mode?
