About time the UK followed the US model whereby an incoming government brought in its' own senior administrators for their duration rather have to rely on an obstructive permanent civil service I agree, it is at the very least naive to imagine that civil servants are politically neutral.

Stop Press: Cost of Rwanda transport plunges. USAF has announced the C17 payload record is not 640, but 823! That's a 28% reduction per bumspace. Time to re-crunch the numbers. Buy an A380 - 853 passengers!

The RAF already has 8 or is it 9 now C-17s, plus as somebody mentioned a couple of dozen A400s. The entire asylum backlog could be shipped elsewhere in less than a couple of months.
Action this day!

I should think that the finding that Rwanda is unsafe by the UK's highest court will make the application for another injunction of the kind that stopped the last Rwanda flight just that little bit easier.

What's your point? Those children aren't being pursued by foreign governments that could potentially kill them. The Iranian Government isn't going to come looking for little Susan from Shropshire in Rwanda. But it might come looking for Achmed for speaking out against the Iranian regime.

LOL (Genuine lol btw) superb. A Labour candidate sells children's holidays to Rwanda, Starmer shakes his hand but insists Rwanda is not a safe country. And Einy is asking me what my point is lol brilliant.

Are there Iranian agents hiding behind bushes with silenced pistols or bowie knives waiting to kill her for speaking out against the Ayatollah? You see, Rwanda might be safe for some people and very dangerous for others, Red. It's not a difficult concept. Give it a little think and I'm sure you'll get it.

Little Susan from Shropshire wont be going on one of Labour's Rwanda Hols. She's traumatised about being a victim of the Telford grooming gang scandal, which Labour are not concerned about.

That's a completely different subject. Indeed, Labour criticize Rwanda, but not grooming gangs. The Supreme Court criticises Rwanda too. That's what I was referring to when I mentioned the highest court in the country. We were discussing the Rwanda planes, you see, and the Supreme Court's finding that it is unsafe. I speculated that the SC's finding would make an injunction even easier to get the next time round. It's all there. Just give it a bit of a read, Red.

The UN's High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has battled Britain's Rwanda asylum deal in court, saying the African nation is unsafe and could deprive migrants of their human rights. Yet the UN sends hundreds of refugees to Rwanda - linkThe UN has long been considered to be pretty useless. Much like the WHO they are infested with authoritarian lefties.

What do you think the effect of the Supreme Court's finding will be the next time an injunction is sought to stop the planes. I mean, an injunction was issued last year even without the SC's finding. So, now that the SC has ruled that Rwanda is unsafe do you think the chances are greater or lesser that the next application for an injunction will succeed?

So, now that the SC has ruled that Rwanda is unsafe do you think the chances are greater or lesser that the next application for an injunction will succeed? Well... if it wasn't for the fact that we are going to have an election within the next few months, there would be a fair chance that Labours supreme court would be abolished. It was president Blairs idea to have a US style supreme court. Our legal system was the envy of the world and adopted by countless countries, but Labour had to meddle and in 2009 implemented a 'supreme court' just like the US. I digress. I wonder how people in other countries see it? The supreme court and the UN say Rwanda is unsafe, yet the UN have been sending refugees to Rwanda for years. Is it a conspiracy?
