The Nazis were, I agree, nothing to do with us but Palestine has everything to do with us. Nope - an intractable conflict in a far off foreign land which is nothing to do with us. Stop with your military adventurism. You like quoting history unless it interferes with your blinkered assessment.

To which I answered "Is it just because a 'lefty' is saying it or because it is not really happening?" In other words do you not believe Israel are committing terrorist acts? 20,000+ dead over half women and children. 10s of thousands maimed for life. Bombing schools, hospitals and refugee camps. Hundreds of aid workers and journalists killed. Degrading treatment of 'prisoners' reminiscent of the Nazis. They even killed three of their own who were shirtless and carrying a white flag. Increased illegal settlements in the West Bank. Language of genocide by Israeli politicians. The list goes on........ If Hamas were doing just one of these things the western world would be calling it out but it is deemed anti-Semitic to say it out loud. You appear to be blissfully unaware that the reason we are having this little tete-a-tete is because on Oct 7th Hamas terrorists attacked Israel. But please, continue to proudly show off your left wing ignorance. You appear to be blissfully unaware that I have condemned Hamas for the attack and murder of innocent civilians and that I have also condemned Israel for the same reasons. What Israel are doing is the biggest recruitment campaign for Hamas. Three Israeli hostages shirtless, carrying a white flag shot by the IDF, a white flag FFS. Time did not start on the 7th Oct neither did the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The reason we are talking about this is because Hamas terrorists attacked Israel on Oct 7th. Or to put it another way, if Hamas terrorists had not attacked Israel on Oct 7th, we would still be talking about Russia/Ukraine.

You are somehow trying to convince that doing nothing that might upset the Israelis is the better option, while also trying to convince us we would need to put boots on the ground, as they said themselves, we are now in a global world, there are plenty of other options. Why are you so desperate to get us involved in someone elses squabble?. The fracas in the Middle East has nothing to do with us and the people there don't want our involvement. For once can we just keep our noses out of someone elses business. Who is us? nobody is forcing you to post about it, try telling the Israelis they have been interfering in everyone else's business. Such as manipulating foreign policy.

Why do you ignore the fact that the Arab armies advised/demanded that people leave and that they could return afyer Israel was destroyed and that there is evidence that some in Israel tried to keep the Arabs from moving. It is a complex picture to imply it was Israel that forced everyone out is just plain wrong and keeps the pot boiling. I repeat it is quite likely some Israeli groups behaved badly but that is not what you are saying which is historically inaccurate. It is a complicated picture but do you deny that 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly evicted from their homes. Wouldn't you want to return to your home if someone stole it. I do so deny as it is a part of the historical record that many were advised/coerced/demanded to leave by the invading, take note of that word 'invading', Arab armies. Some were evicted by Israel, some were massacred by Israeli forces/groups many left on advice or demand by others than Israel. There is sufficient evidence to show that Israel through official channels tried to persuade many to stay. Many Jews did not return to Germany, many Germans did not return to Poland and Czechoslovakia (over 8 million expelled in total) whereby their homes and lands were stolen. These things happen and it is never fair, it is always complicated and right and wrong are never easy.

It's a complicated situation that some people wish to takes sides on and blame everything on one group. For instance: 1. Hebron is one of the Judaism's holiest cities. 2. Jews have lived in Hebron since forever. 3. In 1929 the Jewish community was massacred. 4. In the 1930s the remaining community was expelled 5. From 1948 Arab forces destroyed Jewish sites 6. Between 1949 and 1967 the city was closed to Jews and they could not even pray there. 6. In 1967 with Israel's victory in the war Jews began to return to live in the city. Today: Jews living in Hebron are presented as invaders & foreigners by people on this forum.

I think the point is that the propaganda surrounding the issue is ever present here in the West whereby all the blame is placed on the Zionists and the Jews and it is much more complicated than than that with no one coming out with clean hands.

No, you Zionists puppets will be facing reality. The world has taken all it is taking the lies and political manipulation has been pointed out long enough. You might think you can ignore it, but not this time. LOL - listen to yourself. There is absolutely no country prepared to put it's troops in harms way to impose a solution that nobody wants. A few protesters on the streets is not going to change that reality. But smearing you as an agent of the thing he hates, whilst attacking your individuality, means he wins the argument.

It is absolutely true that the October 7th attacks happened. They were another example of the depravity of human beings and should be condemned. It is also true that the Israeli Government has been treating Palestinians appallingly for many years and that sowed the seeds of hatred that lead to the Oct7 attacks. The vast majority of the people on the various Palestinian marches have been demonstrating i support of the Palestinian people not of Hamas. You are letting yourself down by conflating the two, Red. As for your two young women comment, I am afraid this is a tactic used by the tabloids in respect of marches the aims of which they disagree with. They send out camera crews, interview a number of marchers and only publish the stupidest ones they can find as a way of discrediting all the marchers. If you are conned by such stories, you are even stupider than the stupidest protestor. Who does Hamas represent then, themselves? Did you miss that more than 75% of Gazans supported the attack on 7th October. It's a similar figure in Judea and Samaria where the "good" Fatah Palestinians live.

And where did you get that bit of info from? When was the question asked? How many Palestinians were included? Which polling company carried out the fieldwork? Another piece of Israeli propaganda I reckon!
