What are you basing that on? On the remainer whines about not having enough migrants to pick fruit and look after old people . Are you denying there are shortages in those industries? |

Various jobs including but not exclusively care work and fruit picking. Quite a lot of students I believe. I'm sure the government keeps records if you want a breakdown. |

The former amount to just a few thousand whereas the latter are hundreds of thousands. |

The former amount to just a few thousand whereas the latter are hundreds of thousands. Nope . I was clarifying it . There seems to be an element of Whataboutery here. We dont seem to have control of the migrants coming from a safe country and posing as asylum seekers . That should be a concern in itself and should be rectified . The 700k + legal immigrants should be reduced though . I’ve heard remainers complaining that there are not enough migrants to do the jobs “ we don’t want to do” so I assume that remainers want even more immigrants than the present 700k+. |

In the 19th century the British Empire was in control of large parts of Africa and what is now thought of as the middle east. We introduced sanitation, education, police and judiciary and showed the indigenous population that it was more comfortable to wear clothes, live in houses, wear shoes and brush their teeth. For a hundred years or so this worked well, with these mainly primitive people learning to drive cars, read books and find useful employment and live in peace.
After a time they became fed up with this, and bit by bit the British Empire was dismantled and these countries took back control of their own affairs. This resulted in famine, genocide, wars, murder, rape, pillage and extermination of each other, now faced with the results of their own ineptitude and criminality they want to wade ashore here, demand 6 star hotels and a dentist.
We are going along with all this, certain elements of our society seem to think we must feel guilty at their situation and the establishment don't want us to discuss it. Just how stupid are we?

We never had this problem until Blair opened the floodgates. And what ever the UK try to do the lefty HR lawyers make sure it fails. and ignoring the 700k+ that the Conservative government has let in this year. You have been well programmed. Don't try to tell me what I am thinking monty. We are pouring good money after bad into this farce. We should be investing in stopping this influx at source and not when they have already arrived here, regardless of what colour the government wear as rossettes. We know it is bad enough now just watch how numbers will increase if labour ever get back in. |

A group of families resident in Tower Hamlets, all Somali apparently, are accusing the borough council in Tower Hamlets, 39 out of 45 of whose members are Bangladeshi Muslim, of racism.
