No, you called it a hate march, that is a lie. It was called a hate march by Braverman implying that those that marched hated Jews, that is not the case. Should a march in support of Jews be called a hate march, interestingly nobody has ever said it was, and imply it is a march against all other religions?, no it should not.

Sounds like the prototype "Precrime" from Spielberg's Minority Report is alive and well in the UK. Thought police here, precrime there. Wow. Welcome to 21st Century Britain. Well he has got form and if the organisers of a protest to stop anti semitism fear he’s out for trouble and they don’t want him there what’s wrong with that? If you had a party at your house and an unwelcome guest came you’d want them removed. It's a public place. You should not be able to disperse someone from a public space merely because you think they may cause a crime in the future. That's ridiculous in the extreme.

If only the Police were so active on the pro-Hamas hate marches every Saturday..... I totally agree. The police won't do a thing like that to an Islamist cheering on actual terrorists and genocidal maniacs, so even if the organisers asked that Hamas not attend it wouldn't have mattered. It's just further validation that we do live in a police state where Hamas supporters are better treated.

The police arrested anyone they found making 'questionable' comments or chants at a later day.

A march chanting antisemitic slogans, calling for jihad and intifada and banning any criticism of the terrorists in Hamas is by definition a 'Hate march'

What are the laws around protesting? Your right to protest - Liberty Your right to freedom of assembly is protected under Article 11. Requires public authorities, like the police, to act in a way that is compatible with your rights. The police also have the legal obligation to help protests take place. A legal obligation is something that the law requires you to do.

Fwiw this Hamas Israel is not our fight and if people want to protest do it peacefully as happened here,if not then disperse the lot. Isnt the point though that its the people who organised this (peaceful) march told him he wasn’t welcome and if he thinks anti semitism is wrong he should’ve complied.

My apologies. I didn’t realise the organisers told him to stay away.

No war cries, no angry chants, just solidarity with the UK's fearful Jews... As 100,000 people march against anti-Semitism in London, the release of a four-year-old hostage orphaned by Hamas reminds the world of their barbarism. A perfect example of how a law abiding good natured protest march should be conducted. The complete opposite of the pro Hamas protests in which aggressive Muslims and clueless lefties chant hate songs and desecrate war memorials.

Interesting to compare the welcoming reception Peter Tatchell got at Sundays anti-semitism march compared with the reception he got at the pro-Palestinian marches where he was run off for holding the same sign.. It's possible to support Israel without supporting the Israeli government. His placard could have been phrased better.

It is a public event, there are no tickets, there are no restrictions on attendees apparently and being held in public space. A totally different scenario from a house party. It is telling that the reason the EDL exist is becasue Choudary's group stood and called a parade of soldiers baby killers and murderers and the police did not arrest Choudary but they did arrest a man who objected. The two tier policing is there for all to see.

My apologies. I didn’t realise the organisers told him to stay away. Does that matter, the whole point was to stand against anti semitism and show solidarity. Robinson has every right to support that as anyone. Many people may disagree with Tatchel but his right was the same as everyone's but not Mr Robinson apparently.

Yes I understand that but if the organisers felt that Robinson was going to hi Jack or become a distraction and the police responded to that , I have a little less objection to Robinson being ejected . Robinson posed as a journalist apparently .

As to anti-Semitism, that again unfortunately has become an overused smear where people are losing their livelihoods just for supporting peace and the cessation of a genocide. The anti-Semitism march was nothing to do with what is happening in Gaza but it was unfortunately a reflection of what is happening in the UK and across the western world.
