When there are hundreds of thousands of people demonstrating for peace and an end to ethnic cleansing and we have a government that has labelled them hate marches. Remembrance Day in London is being used for political reasons,that day is to remind of the sacrifices made by ordinary people not political football by privileged politicians. Those supporting Palestine have foolishly chosen that day to protest which will damage their cause,Roland rat has decided that protest will be used to deface the cenotaph. Now putting my cynical hat on were I in mossad I would be encouraging some useful idiots to do that very deed for obvious political and propaganda value. Surely he right day to protest about a country committing apartheid and genocide is the day we remember those that sacrificed their lives fighting against a country that practiced apartheid and genocide. Typical from you. I wouldn't expect someone as partisan as you to compromise for just one or two days. |

Genocide is what Hamas are conducting, their avowed aim of killing all Jews and removing Israel from the map is considered by all right thinking people as genocide. The military actions in Gaza by the IDF are a response to that threat, Israel
has the capability to completely destroy Gaza and all those in it many times over, the fact that they have invaded shows that they are after the terrorists and not the civilians.
They could just sit on the border and bomb Gaza to pieces, the fact that they are not doing shows they are not intent on genocide.
If the lefties paused to think about it they would realise how wrong they are, instead of spouting sound bites actually think about what you are saying.
The fact that this rabble are infecting our streets every weekend shows that they haven't thought about it either, or perhaps they are really Hamas supporters intent on inflaming our lefties who have demonstrated that they are unable to think for themselves either.

When you get thousands of people marching through the streets demanding that Israel be wiped out what else would you call it? Yup, it was on the news. The pro-Palestinian sit in in Liverpool were chanting 'free Palestine' something even you must surely agree with, but this has been reported as Jihad, and others but it is quite clearly 'free Palestine'. Israel are very good, it seems, at trade marking phrases like 'from the river to the sea'. Muslims use the word Jihad to describe three different kinds of struggle: A believer's internal struggle to live out the Muslim faith as well as possible. The struggle to build a good Muslim society. Holy war: the struggle to defend Islam, with force if necessary. Very, very few of the demonstrators are using the phrases you mention. |

Bombing hospitals, schools, refugee camps is 'they are not after the civilians'. Various Israeli politicians have openly said, "there will be nothing left alive in Gaza", "we will reduce Gaza to tents", ......... Hamas killed 1400 Israeli's, Israel has killed 10,000+ and that's not counting the thousands killed over the decades, how is that not genocide? Hamas changed it's call for the destruction of Israel. If Hamas are destroyed another group of terrorists will occupy the vacant vacuum and the wars will continue but by then tens of thousands of civilians will have been killed. |

Barry Town Council are committed to organising events to commemorate Remembrance Day, and events are organised, including the usual indoor, and outdoor services of remembrance, wreath laying etc.
The decision to cancel the parade was done after consulting with the Royal British Legion.
My guess is that this PROBABLY has something to do with Insurance and Public Liability, with the parade apparently scheduled to take place on a road or roads which cannot be closed to traffic, and with many elderly people taking part.
The Town Council and the Royal British Legion are going to see if the matter can be resolved for next year
Whats all the fuss about ?

THe Irish Prime Minister was 100% correct in what he stated yesterday - That what Israel is now doing has gone way beyond self defence, its now revenge, and one side murdering civilians is not an excuse for the other side to do the same.
