Ah. The Bribery and Corruption Act 2010

Ah, you can't beat the Brussels Gazette for unbiased reporting ....
"The Guardian has spent the past 13 years tirelessly investigating the shortcomings of the Tories in office – austerity, Brexit, partygate, cronyism, the Truss debacle and the individual failings of ministers who behave as if the rules don’t apply to them.
Our work has resulted in resignations, apologies and policy corrections. Our continued revelations about the conveyor belt of Tory dysfunction are the latest in a long line of important scoops. And with an election just round the corner, we won’t stop now. It’s crucial that we can all make informed decisions about who is best to lead the UK. Will you invest in the Guardian this year?"

Yes of course, he'll become PM the same day Watford win the European cup.

LOL!
My prediction: If Starmer's PM in 2025, Farage will be by 2030.
And I'm seldom wrong.

IMO Newspapers have a greater political unelected influence on the electorate than perhaps many people recognise, which is why the Tories have spent far more time in office than Labour since 1951. I have complained about this since the 1970s and have not bought a national newspaper on a regular basis since the late 1970s.

It was funny watching BBC's announcement on the news that Boris was joining GB News. Jane Hill looked like she'd just trodden in a dog turd. Sheer contempt. I think it reflects very well on Boris that he's willing to open himself up to public scrutiny like this. Best of luck to him.
