It is unlawful to leave someone stateless, which is effectively what's been done here. Not that I give a flying fornication about Begum. What is more alarming to me is the sheer number of courts, tribunals and what-have-yous that appear to have jurisdiction in these matters: We seem to be having the appeal of the appeal of the appeal. It should be one court, one appeal and that's it. That, I do agree with…

It would be a lot cheaper to bring her back and put her on trial. It would appear that someone does not want this story to die. Of course someone doesn't want this story to die. Her left wing solicitors are charging the legal aid fund £1000 per hour. Why would they want this story to die. So, bring her back, charge her with crimes, end story. Why is Begum a bigger story than it really should be?

I think Begun is a vile, nasty piece of work but revoking her citizenship was irresponsible. I don't want other countries dumping their problems on us so I can't in all good conscious advocate us dumping one of our problems on someone else. she ceased to be ‘our’ problem when she opted to spread her legs for the islamic caliphate. And she married a bloody Dutchman. Let her take her case to the Dutch.
