I liked the earlier fascist suggestion that unvaccinated people should not be treated. It should go alongside other fascist suggestions that cigarette smokers, alcohol users, tattoos and piercings gone wrong, drug addicts, suicide attempts should not be treated. As my father-in-law used to say when he was an engineer in the NHS. This hospital would be a great place if it wasn't for the patients. Gosh who said that? I remember me saying that someone who refuses the vaccine, gets Covid and needs medical help might be asked to pay an extra fee. The same might apply to those who were asked to stop smoking or drinking. Drug addicts, no, they are unable to stop because usually their lives are in a mess as well as their addiction. I also started by saying this wasn't my preferred solution. Mine was that we as a country stump up the money needed to supply the NHS we want.

I'm in favour of paying for the NHS we want, but only if we can control what the NHS is becoming, but it seems to be out of control of government or its own Trusts.

For despite our NHS costing less per patient than most of our contemporaries, the claim its more expensive seems to stick like glue.
