They got it so wrong because good honest people are too busy getting on with their lives to answer stupid opinion polls.
Brexit was mostly about Freedom of Movement.
When did we ever vote to flood the country with six million EU nationals? Old people didn't like it because wherever they went they would hear foreign languages being spoken and they no longer recognised their own country. Working people didn't like it because the flood turned many professions into minimum wage jobs. Then you had virtue signalling numpties proclaiming that Brexit was a vote for racism. Feeling a stranger in your own country is not racism.
