5g has no range limitations Baron. China just produces outdated crap. 5G can transmit on different bands, but you are talking about microwave frequencies that lack range. It's the same principle as the other Gs. It is a network. If you track along the shoreline you can manage but then you have to switch to satellite. China is putting together the satellite constellation for 6G at the moment. It is the UK and US that use outdated crap. The Russians are being kitted out with China telecoms. Satelite phones are old hat Baron. Only the Chinese would fuck about with such rubbish.

I knew it would be. Whatever I put. But then I didn't expect a fair hearing. I didn't expect you to look at what you pay for electricity, or admit most of your days you travel less than 38 miles, or agree with the published figures that the average journey is only 16 miles. But you asked so I calculated. As for the danger of batteries, I gave you the stats. The Luton airport fire was started by a diesel. It was filmed and the fire service said it was a diesel. Sorry can't be arsed with this crap anymore. The Fire Brigade said it was "thought" to have been started by a diesel. But the reason that the whole car park and every car in it was destroyed by fire was because many BEVs caught fire. That's the problem with BEVs - they need to be parked about 15 ft away from other cars. There's a friggin video. And where do you get off assuming its an EV without any evidence. Are you so desperate.

How very dare you. What I may or more accurately may not watch in my man shed is nothing more than a nasty rumour. Ahem... moving swiftly on. Indeed yes, albeit some years ago.

Should you think twice before buying a used electric car?

That's the problem with BEVs - they need to be parked about 15 ft away from other cars. There's a friggin video. And where do you get off assuming its an EV without any evidence. Are you so desperate. The video also shows a Tesla on fire. And the fact is that there is no official report yet about the causes of the fire is very strange. Which car actually started the fire is irrelevant. The fact remains that the reason that the WHOLE car park has been destroyed together with EVERY car in it WAS caused by BEVs catching fire. And the fact that, despite the fire being caught early and prompt attendance by the fire brigade (it's an airport) over 100 firemen couldn't control the fire, indicates that the huge destruction caused by the fire was because of Li-ion batteries. These cars are an another example of the govt allowing extremely dangerous cars on the roads because of spurious climate change bollocks. The insurance companies say that when BEVs are damaged they should be stored a minimum of 15 ft away from other cars. We've already had many cases of Li-ion batteries destroying houses. What will really wake the govt up will be something like a motorway pile-up when people are trapped in their cars and one of them catches fire. That will be a disaster. But it's also very dangerous for rescue services when they have to free people who are trapped in vehicles. Before you can do anything with an electric car you have to cut the power - and that needs a knowledgeable mechanic. I've always thought these BEVs were completely useless but I think what will finally put the kybosh on them is the fact they're bloody dangerous. I wouldn't have one parked within 100 yards of my house.

There is no need for satelite comminications these days. I can pick my phone up and call anywhere in the world incuding Russia.

So ICE cars can be tinder to EVs and EVs produce higher temperature fires that are harder to extinguish.
