There are multiple links all say the same that slightest damage which can be a scratch on the battery and it has to be replaced, since the batteries are under the floor that’s likely so they are then written off because of cost. linkIndeed, scare stories abound. What insurers lack is data. Your link says "For many electric vehicles, there is no way to repair or assess even slightly damaged battery packs after accidents" But not what percentage of accidents cause battery damage. Also the growing number of cars where individual battery cells can be replaced. But we've done this whole conversation before. Why do you guys never research both sides of any argument. It’s not a just a scare story low mileage cars with minimum damage are being written off which is a fact.

Why do you guys never research both sides of any argument. I've touched on the reason why before Zany. It's because EV-phobia is part of a standard ideological package that some people feel they must adhere to in toto in order to gain peer approval.
Dealing with such matters on their merits would call into question how commited they are as a foot-soldier for the cause.
In that respect it's not unlike joining up for Isis.

Talking of intelegence zany, Why does the screen shot of the ociloscope of your new wonder battery portray an AC sinewave? A Battery is DC not AC...

I was tempted to look it up so I could pretend to have your pseudo intelligence, but real answer is I don't know without looking it up. Difference between you and I is I do look things up and you copy paste. Oh and its 'Talking of intelligence" Not Talking of intelegence And its an oscilloscope, not an ociloscope I might expect you to know this if you claim working knowledge of them.

The smart thing to do is to keep using ICE vehicles you can’t and hope that EV technology makes future EVs viable . Meanwhile the virtue signallers and the net zero zealots can bear the inconvenience.

You think only virtue signallers and net-zero zealots understand the importance of weaning ourselves off the addiction to fossil fuels?

Is that the best you can do is to pick up on a typo? You know fucking well I suffer from dyslexia...The only way they could get a trace like that was to meter the ripples of a DC motor under load and if they measured it from the positive pole it would slope up from the left side of the screen and if they took their readings from the negative pole it would slope down from the left side of the screen. And of course if the motor was not running there would be no ripple and the scope trace would be just a flat line across the center of the screen.. Any thing else I can do for you zany to enhance your own meager education?
