an excellent question. My answer to you is that in the last two months i have most unusually found myself looking to get to places from london victoria, paddington and kings cross st pancras and i do believe from sitting in taxis and co workers cars picking me up that the great khan’t has indeed designed enough of a stranglehold to fritter away any high speed train advantage Traffic congestion in London plays a major part in low speeds getting around as far as I can remember and that was 20 years ago. absolutely. But not all day every day. Which this prick has now achieved. And twenty years ago i was able to negotiate various clients in outer london with ease. Today i would use every possible aspect of social media to advertise the weaknesses of their insane outsourcing decisions while providing alternatives to competitors outside the capital There is no longer the slightest point in having a business in saddo’s fiefdom and the sooner he is deprived of the revenue of those enslaved to them by their going bankrupt, the better.

Will the trains run on time anyway rr? Or will labours paymasters put the mockers on it? There are still railstrikes going on or don't you get the current news on planet zog? There are still rail strikes going on and the Tories are in power, don't you know that? The Rail Strikes are because the Tories are in power and no other reason the RMT want an early as possible GE

Any other differences you can think of that could affect congestion compared to 20 years ago?

The strikes are about changes to working conditions, underinflation pay rises and culture wars, all because of the Tories.

The mistake made at the beginning was Labours big mistake, they began their grandiose scheme in London , they should have started it in the North and gone East and West first across the Pennines get that sorted, then worked South Where it started has no bearing on it, it was mismanaged by the Tories. Of course WW1 was Labours fault as well. Of course it was by a Serbian Labour Party member

A rail line suposedly getting you into London 20 minutes faster so you can waste it in Saddo Khant’s 20mph hell getting from the station to somewhere useful…. Are all roads in London 20mph? I think all roads in the London congestion zone are 20mph. Now TfL wants more, and many boroughs are imposing blanket 20mph restrictions on all** their roads, and introducing blocks to all motor traffic on many others. **There are some roads (eg, the A1 Holloway Road) that are wide, and to cut speed from 30mph to 20mph would cause traffic snarl ups for most of the day…

The Rail Strikes are because the Tories are in power and no other reason the RMT want an early as possible GE I think the problem is that money has been agreed yet the government want to cut staff. RMT say this is dangerous. I've also seen the Tories want to get rid of ticket offices yet the offices often give the best info on cheaper tickets. Then there is driverless trains.

The RMT claim staff numbers will be reduced but the Rail Owners state that will not happen overnight natural wastage, TFL are already short of Platform Staff on the Underground , the only driverless train that I know of in London is the Docklands Train which have been in operation for a number of years, the Underground does not have driverless trains yet , but that will happen in due course probably sooner due to all the strikes
It is not the Government that is considering anything when it comes to TFL that is down to the Mayor of London , same for Rail Companies
As for money Train Drives earn twice as much as the average worker across the UK for a four day week, £60,000 and have turned down an extra £5,000

So not a normal job. It would be more interesting to what other staff earn as I think most probably are under 30k.

May be better now ULEZ has kicked in.

The rail strikes are on main railway track not the tube.
