No it's a British taxpayer issue. It costs every taxpaying Brit most of whom were never asked. Ask everyone. Abolish devolution. Scotland gives more to the exchequer than it gets back to run the NHS, education, justice etc. therefore it is Scottish money that pays for the Devolution settlement Since 1999 all Governments have balanced the books. Scotland is doing well being run from Holyrood. What about the 8%

Try and include the English electorate in a Scottish issue and see what happens. You'll post angry anti-English comments online? What anti-English comments?

What about the 8% No it doesn't, it receives more from the Barnett formula than it takes in taxes, it runs a deficit, Scotland's debts are rising with excessive deficit spending through every year. Abolish devolution and more money can go to frontline services with less administrative costs and less of a deficit. Hold polls explaining this. Hold a nationwide referendum to get a mandate for the end of devolution. And end devolution.

The real question is why do SNATs and WNATs and Londoners want our money squandered on useless politicians instead of being spent on frontline services?

Abolish devolution and more money can go to frontline services with less administrative costs and less of a deficit. Hold polls explaining this. Hold a nationwide referendum to get a mandate for the end of devolution. And end devolution. The only reason we supposedly 'receive' more money is down to the guesswork relating to Westminster spending on behalf of Scotland. What we 'receive' is balanced by the outgoings. Every Scot Gov since the inception of devolution has balanced the books and therefore no financial penalty has ever been imposed. Your problem is that a campaign would not be one sided. The true facts would be spelt out. Why would we give up free prescriptions, free eye tests, free tuition etc? Why would we vote to make things worse. Why would we vote for ending the mitigation of the bedroom tax and the more compassionate welfare benefits. More money per capita is spent on the NHS in Scotland than is in England How much does Scotland spend on healthcare?
As of 2021/22, overall public spending was 20% higher for Scotland, at £13,881 per person, than for England. fullfact.org/online/scotland-nhs-funding-devolved/

Basically you'd rather waste British taxpayers money on duplicate government than spend money on cancer patients. And you flounder around trying to defend failed devolution which you see as a vehicle to try and return Scotland to the fifteenth century when there was no sort of union across our now united island nation.
I want to save British taxpayers a fortune.
Scotland doesn't want independence.
It may want to end devolution.
All taxpayers in the UK pay for the failed anglophobic parish council of Holyrood. Hold a nationwide referendum and abolish.

I want to save British taxpayers a fortune. Scotland doesn't want independence. It may want to end devolution. All taxpayers in the UK pay for the failed anglophobic parish council of Holyrood. Hold a nationwide referendum and abolish. You won't be saving one penny. How do you intend paying for the NHS? You'd still need bureaucrats, doctors, nurses, radiographers, pharmacists etc. etc. NHS Scotland was set up as a distinct organisation. And so it will remain. Your hairbrained idea of a uniform, UK, system will not happen. I'm not floundering around. I have pointed out a major flaw in your absurd proposition: the opposition will have the yoons cards well and truly marked. The vast majority of Scots won't back direct rule and so they shouldn't. If devolution has failed why is there not a surge in favour of abolition? Anglophobic. You repeat this accusation ad nauseum. You are invited, yet again, to provide evidence but, given past faures, I do not expect you to come up with anything. 8%

Can't spend money twice, the money wasted on MSPs could be spent on cancer patients instead, and it would also mean less bureaucracy and fewer lavish pensions to fork out for.
Abolish devolution.
The taxes are OURS. Not theirs. MSPs don't pay tax they repay tax out of the money WE give them.
Scotland is part of Britain, all of Britain's taxpayers contribute towards cancer patients in Scotland

And English, Welsh, Northern Irish, Manx and even Gibraltarian money funds NHS Scotland.
The Scottish Nazi Party runs a rather substantial budget deficit which the rest of the union (and overseas territories) pays for.

Scot Gov balances the books. It is Westminster's guesswork, relating to so called spending in and on behalf of Scotland, that brings about that so called deficit! You seem to be forgetting that the UK runs a deficit and borrows to make ends meet. Part of the money borrowed covers their failure of Westminster to sort out what they claim is spent in or on behalf of Scotland,

As do taxpayers in the rest of the country who make up the budget shortfall.
Stop spouting propaganda and come to your senses.
The only problem Scotland has is devolution, it is a waste of taxes and a fountain of duplicated bureaucracy that nobody needs.
Abolish.

Try and include the English electorate in a Scottish issue and see what happens. I mean, if you had included the English electorate in the Indy referendum, then Scotland would be an independant country now. I'm just saying, sometimes the English have your side more than the Scottish seem to.

Just curious.

I mean, if you had included the English electorate in the Indy referendum, then Scotland would be an independant country now. I'm just saying, sometimes the English have your side more than the Scottish seem to. Not according to a study into the Referendum led by Prof Ailsa Henderson, Edinburgh University. There were c500,000 rUK born people able to vote. Of those the study found that 72.1% - 28.9% voted NO. It also found that of the electorate born in Scotland 52.7% voted YES. blogs.sps.ed.ac.uk/scottishreferendumstudy/files/2015/03/Scottish-Referendum-Study-27-March-2015.pdfAs far as I know, there is no evidence to back your statement.
