Interesting, thanks DD. I have always thought that time as such was a misnomer and a false definition. And that big banging out nothing was an extremely clumsy and rather arrogant way of admitting that the origins of things are basically unknown to us as yet. That's OK, but how else do we deal with things that have happened, or are yet to happen? If we understand that there is no time, only the present, we still need to measure time to keep appointments. I don't think there is no time, as such, I have just always seen "time" as an abstract that measures events and that tends by extension to place objects and events into frames. Time is a concept, not an object. Time, like gravity, exists only because other things and events do. We understand time well in our world as it is measurable by our clocks and can be witnessed as things decay and age. But time, or Time, is otherwise rather elusive. It has to be there as long as existence is there and as there is no something out of nothing, time and "things" must have always been in existence. I think this is the most baffling conundrum for humans. We see everything as a set of polar opposites so "something" must have a "no thing" to balance it. But perhaps nothing simply is just that - no thing. There has always just been something and there has never been no thing. Perhaps this kind of thinking led to the manifestation of a Creator who is eternal. Everything passes away except "God". God has always been there. Humans seem to have embodied Something and Eternity with a figure humans can identify themselves with. God, too, is a chimera. But Something is not a chimera. And Nothing simply is not.

NASA has computer software that can go back to nanoseconds after the blast that created the universe. When you post something like this you will always get the Bible poking its nose in and you will always find some who feel they must inform you of what and who they think you are so you can be educated and stop thinking outside the box of God, or atheism, or what ever it is that drives any ideology. We do not have the foggiest notion what it's all about, in truth, but some of us have given ourselves the chance to see beyond our back yard and these new telescopes are providing much of that new view. We are like tiny motes of dust in an infinitely vast space and we think we have it all sorted. Which is fine. But it has never been fine for me. I will continue to be open to possibilities. it’s the failure to stay open-minded that trips up the scientists of today … who set themselves up as Gods trying to define the Laws of the Universe … yet like NASA grovel for grant money handed out by Religious factions who control Banking and most Institutes … who ultimately decide down which avenue scientific thinking must proceed. NASA has computer software that can go back to nanoseconds after the blast that created the universe. But that's just their illusion, Jonksy. Based on man's flawed knowledge and a computer's flawed modelling. NASA think they are gods, mind, so they could be right. … but then again … they could be very wrong … and manipulated to lead us up the garden path? They were instrumental in further promoted Einstein’s Relativity to being accepted for over 100 years … and created experiments that imo were flawed and likely just clock errors generated by Universal Force variations … and not demonstrations of Time Elasticity . … Time being metronomic, relentlessly moving forward … purely conceptually … means it doesn’t take on ‘physical’ properties that can be affected by perspective or travelling close to the speed of light … Light we are told behaves like a particle and a wave … part of the EMF Spectrum … and thus can be manipulated and distorted by many different known and likely currently unknown forces in our Universe.(Dark Matter? etc) … Space Time cannot be physical if Time is a figment of our imagination (based on just Earth ‘clock’ rotation). So any observations where short cuts in Time are observed to exist … must be down to other variables … like gravity. Extra-terrestrials - the REAL Gods in our history … mastered gravity and it’s mysteries … but scientists continue to ignore the REALITY of that ‘Religion’ … and repeatedly deny their existence (atheism) in order to continue to idolitise themselves with God-like status in the eyes of Earth humans. Space was never an empty vacuum and Earth’s water/oceans never came from ice meteors in Asteroid Belts … NASA’s God-like status was arguably elevated by allegedly intelligent people who followed the herd and couldn’t rationalise reality for themselves. Where were the voices of dissent to the Big Bang Theory and Time dilation? … they were out there … but ignored and marginalised by the Religious Devils in control of our money, our thinking and our MEDIA. … because it is the (conceptual?) Devil that is in ‘deception’ … no?? That is the best video I've seen recently, Dubs. It does actually throw into the melting pot all of the theories of space/time, and throws into question dating of events, measuring of distances using red shift and it actually is mind blowing. One of the biggest unanswered questions is "Why is the night sky dark". It should be light. Then there's gravity which has possibly been a distortion in space/time all along. As a believer in God, I find these things to be so far outside of our true understanding, and the reason for that is the intelligence of a Creator who designed the whole system. Other beliefs are available. Those that mastered gravity probably engineered wormholes through Space that gave the illusion of time travel elasticity … as our primitive scientists with their primitive understanding of the Universe and restrictive Laws of Physics can’t rationalise how extra-terrestrials from nearby star systems that might support life … can possible reach us. I have another long standing thread bumped by Management into the CT section discussing ‘Gods/Extra-terrestrials’ so maybe this thread should focus on Astro-physics?? …but to briefly answer you … Extra-terrestrial creationism is a likely logical Theory to certain anomalies in the formation of our Solar System … but scientists won’t even discuss it and put it on the table amongst all the other theories they perpetuate … but statistical probability suggests are very unlikely. Evolution without creationism (a spark) doesn’t quite work for me … but who created the extra-terrestrials that created our World and Eden Project? … maybe that’s where your God concept can make an entrance? … as long as it doesn’t harm anyone, eh? Biblical Gods do vengeful things in Bibles and other tomes … that sounds more like the actions of flawed aliens to me? Meanwhile … back to flawed physics … ahem. We don’t deal with it. We just exist as it ticks metronomically. Simply, … relentlessly forwards … our appointments don’t matter in the big scheme of things.😋 Time is a construct that can imprison your Life … restrict your FREEDOMS … It was used as another cage in which intellectuals exercised CONTROL. There is no such thing as "nothing". Nature abhors a vacuum. A vacuum consists of a multitude of particles and anti-particles which are constantly destroying each other, then borrowing energy and recreating themselves. All it takes is the conditions to separate the matter and anti-matter (like a strong magnetic field) and then you potentially have a universe. This has been done on a very small scale in the laboratory - and the scientists were very disappointed to find that anti-matter reacts just like matter to gravity. If it went the other way that would have been very interesting. As for "time" I don't think anyone has ever understood what it is - not even Brian Cox. Hard to imagine our scientists even coming close to recreating the complex contents of Space in a lab. … which scientists strangely still call a vacuum today.🤔 Can’t imagine why? P.S. How did they generate the Dark Matter into their experimental model? … do you have a link to this experiment?… it sounds interesting … I don't think there is no time, as such, I have just always seen "time" as an abstract that measures events and that tends by extension to place objects and events into frames. Humans seem to have embodied Something and Eternity with a figure humans can identify themselves with. God, too, is a chimera. But Something is not a chimera. And Nothing simply is not. That is exactly how I rationalised Time a while back … when we started to pull it apart on the last Forum. But as one extra-terrestrial said in a famous philosophical interrogation interview that most people think is ‘fake’ … (see my ufo/alien thread) … God is just a human construct … like Time … invented to rationalise meaning to the creation of a physical Universe. … there doesn’t have to be a reason behind it … maybe it just spontaneously happened to pop out of many multiverses that have no physical restrictions/particle attractions/forces holding them together?🤔

On the last Forum a while back … before it was pulled down and destroyed … some of us were sticking our necks out and discussing in the Mind Zone the idea of multiple Big Bangs, Space Time and Time itself being just conceptual and a figment of human imagination … thus making Einstein’s Theory of Relativity (Time Elasticity) impossible … and clock error/distortions responsible for leading Science down a cul-de-sac for over a century. Well, it looks like results from the JWST are confirming our logical arguments were correct … and now mainstream science … and astro-physics in particular is in turmoil.🤔 Enjoy! 🤣 That is the best video I've seen recently, Dubs. Kind of puts a question mark for me about there being a Creator. What sort of Creator would create such mayhem?

Your idea of mayhem is actually someone else's self sufficient ecosystem which requires little maintenance. I'm sure anyone creating it would have though that was pretty cool, to say the least.

I have found programmes on the cosmos lately to be very oddly nihilist. The astro-physicists and others who narrate them seem to enjoy telling people that the end is going to be a spectacular ripping apart of their bodies, that everything is going to be destroyed and that we will witness our own annihilation in a splendiferous cascade of fire. This must be very depressing to say nothing of frightening for young people. No wonder they are committing suicide at such a rate.
It's a lot like the dreadful tales of disaster that the Climate Change zealots keep telling. Horror, death, destruction. They tell us what to eat, what not to eat, what to think, what to do so that we may become saints and go into our apocalypse with dreamy looks on our faces and our robes on fire.
It's mad.
It's also a fact that they are doing this with impunity and anyone who sticks his hat above the parapet gets it shot off.

Certainly, just as long as one can close their eyes and their mind to the screams and the desperate fight for life that takes place daily. What about a very young animal that hasn't even had a chance at life, being eaten alive? Doesn't rest too well with me.

Gravity
Throughout space there are ultra minuscule particles moving at a speed that makes the speed of light seem like a slow motion. When bombarding a moving object they have almost next to no effect on its speed ... and their mass is so small that it takes billions of years for there to be any noticeable effect on its mass. When, however, the object is masked by another object the two objects attract each other ... they get pushed towards each other.
This is just a "flow of thought" I had when thinking about something I read recently where the author claimed that Gravity cannot be an attractive force.

Nobody knows what dark matter is - or even if it exists. I regard it as a fudge factor to make Einstein's equations work. They've been looking for it for years and haven't found anything yet.

It's also a fact that they are doing this with impunity and anyone who sticks his hat above the parapet gets it shot off. Maybe it’s just a distraction … scientists telling us Black Holes are going to rip us apart and kill us in a slow agonising way … when in reality it’s going to be the nuclear weapons they created, the chemical and environmental toxins they irresponsibly made, the geo-weathering programmes they facilitated … every invention used to damage us and the Planet over the last 100 years… put under the control of enemies of humanity. Maybe scientists were just unwitting pawns in this ‘game’ ? … but that doesn’t negate their responsibility in our destruction and euthanasia. How much respect should we give self-proclaimed ‘gods’ who were instruments of immense suffering for all LIFE on this Earth? Guess you’re being ironic? … whipped into a vortex and torn apart by a Black Hole? 🤣 …. maybe the day they made Time REAL and ELASTIC … was the day Reality became UNREAL and TRUTH became ELASTIC?🤔 No, I'm just pointing out the stepping stones that eventually lead to greater understanding. … Yes, most agree much of Einstein’s work did lead to greater understanding… but this Relativity issue and the true conceptual nature of TIME … giving it physical properties … elasticity … surely other scientists around the World failed to address that issue for over 100 years … that’s a serious set-back for scientific thinking … to be so wrong for so long? …. and the Big Bang issue … they were very slow steering that ship off the rocks. …. I blame dogmatic teaching methods and censorship in Universities and Scientific Media … which stifle bright students being able to challenge Establishment Theory without being defunded or de-platformed. Gravity Throughout space there are ultra minuscule particles moving at a speed that makes the speed of light seem like a slow motion. When, however, the object is masked by another object the two objects attract each other ... they get pushed towards each other. Is this your own Theory … are you suggesting Gravity is a particle? …. is there a link to this research you describe? Here is an explanation of the very weak gravitational effects of smaller particles. Maybe something can be done to certain matter to give it strong gravitational properties? … as can be generated in magnets. Dubdrifter said: "P.S. I regard it as a fudge factor to make Einstein's equations work. They've been looking for it for years and haven't found anything yet. It seems to be a common tool scientists use to give a Theory more longevity … (and perpetuate dead careers and secure more grant funding££$$€€€ in areas of ‘dead physics’)…. invent an unquantifiable mysterious unknown (like a new God!) that gives the elasticity of their mathematics more leeway … and makes sense of the nonsensical. For a bunch of atheists … scientists sure know a lot about creating ‘religions’ out of unverifiable hypotheses … as they did with Relativity.. …. because no clock could possible be accurate travelling close to the speed of light … even Mach 3 is pushing it … even putting one atomic clock 6ft above another shows anomalies due to gravitational effects. 🤔

I feel Einstein's theories are getting a bit of undeserved criticism in this thread lol
Bear in mind, Einstein's theories have never been contradicted by any experimental observation - ie in controlled conditions

Einstein's theories are still the best we've got for calculations on a macro scale. And they're incredibly accurate. It's just a pity that they need that "cosmological constant" to make them work in all cases.

Einstein's theories are still the best we've got for calculations on a macro scale. And they're incredibly accurate. It's just a pity that they need that "cosmological constant" to make them work in all cases. Do people now think those controlled conditions must have been flawed … and delivered the wrong interpretations? … measurable clock error/deviation rather than evidence of Time Dilation? With JWST observations in Deep Space … and objects recorded breaking some of the Laws of our Physics in our own backyard …. maybe we need to resolutely discard one or two aspects of Einstein’s Relativity Theory? … that turned a conceptual idea into something physical that science thought it could quantify as real … manipulate and elasticate? From comments and quotes Einstein made … it’s pretty clear he was just waiting for the day the scientific world would wake up and eventually experimentally debunk his TIME elasticity model …. spacequotations.com/einstein-quotes-about-time-and-space/These quotes stand out: “ Time and space are modes by which we think and not conditions in which we live.”
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe; a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts, and his feelings as something separate from the rest – a kind of optical delusion of consciousness.”
“Time and space are not conditions of existence, time and space is a model for thinking.” Albert Einstein once wrote: “ People like us who believe in physics know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.” Time, in other words, he said, is an illusion. Many physicists since have shared this view, that true reality is timeless. As a philosopher … Einstein knew some of his concepts were based on ideas difficult to prove experimentally. Now our technology is recording truly radical extra-terrestrial physics - ideas and technology flying around in our own backyard … that many conventional scientists ignored and joked about for decades … as the CIA/Military Complex bullied top secret project scientists allegedly to reverse engineer this new physics from scratch … with some success apparently. Maybe it’s time for a new approach … throw away restrictive Laws … become more open-minded to new ideas … put these radical new discoveries in the public domain …. grow out of desire to use new technologies to kill people and create wars. Evolve a bit. No? (Ukraine was such a backward idea 🤯) Maybe modern science today has earned the right to now be privy to these new radical U.S.secret project discoveries that can allegedly (according to reliable witness testimony from the Disclosure Project) generate and manipulate gravity as a form of propulsion. Rumours of successful Stargate experiments suggest even manufacturing wormholes in space might be within reach of some imaginative science! … or inter-dimensional humanoid ‘species’. Maybe some have already cracked that secret?
