Now for the last time , im going to ask you once more.
Can you tell me why scottish schools should not teach scottish children scottish history...uniquely...of countires around the world? That includes children of immigrants in dundee.
If you are offended by countires that teach about their wars with england , then you have picked the wrong country to be born into .England has been at war with or fought many countires on this planet.So scotland isnt unique.
Are the french anti english for teaching french schoolshildren about joan of arc , or the hundred years war with your country?
What about the irish and their wars with england?
The danes? Germans? Spanish? The united states of america? Russia?
Wether you like it or not , history happened , its nether good bad nor pro or anti anything .
I mind you on the old forum moaning about woke lefties pulling down historical statues of edward coulson in bristol , and how wrong this was , and now you want to pull down scotish history because it offends your anglo british sensibilities.

I, of course, bow to the greater knowledge of Herr Dan. After all he compiled an exhaustive list of all of Britain's conquests going back way before 1707 when Great Britain was formed in the Act of Union.
That history degree was money well spent.
