Why don't you ask yourself and the rest of your mindset why we have a police force an NHS, civil service and border force that is not fit for purpose? Because austerity didn't work. Because the Tories would like the NHS to fall apart so they can claim it would be better privatised (Like they did with the water supply) Run it down to crap by cutting budgets. Tell the public that government run services are useless and privatisation is better. Then wait a year, stick 20% on the idiot voters bills and boast how much better it is. (Rake in the dosh and piss off with it.) Simple as ABC with a bit of help from the Express the Sun and the Mail in training the chumps. Nope. Would you like another go?

I was musing over Zany's original post, where he has tried to fix everything but failed to find a big enough audience to believe him, which seems strange as though his ideas of fixing everything seems more likely according to others to break it even worse than it already is. Or maybe just none of it was original thought but driven by a belief that our resident politicians can sort it out, which in all honesty if that was going to happen, it would have been long before now, or perhaps the EU will fix it for him, although of course the last 50 years did have its ups and downs, mainly downs of course, but no maybe in desperation of we can fix it, they will be better at it next time. After all they fixed everything else, no European wars over expansion of the EU and no poorer folk. No Bureaucratic rules turned out in tens of thousands no unfair laws so all good then. Not only that they are great believers of saving the planet all for themselves, what could possibly go wrong. No Mr Sir Starmer is no doubt a genius with his finger on the pulse with zillions willing to vote for a good dose of more of it.

According to some who use this forum I am retarded, illiterate uneducated and blind. So your excuse is a tad overused,

If that is the Tories plan they are doing a very poor job of implementation. NHS spending has never been higher. It is the organisation which is failing to provide for the increasing number of non paying "customers". Which is all of them. 7 million waiting list! Having said that, public perception of the NHS at GP level seems to have taken a nosedive since facilities which were perfect before covid have not been reinstated. By that, I mean online booking of face to face appointments. The GPs seem to be absent which is adding to A&E workloads.

Under Labour it grew from 5 to 10% of GDP. Under the Tories it shrunk back to 8.5% despite inflation and the ever growing number of ailments now treatable. Yes as more and more money goes to less and less people that's inevitable. Moaning about your GP appointment is the hobby of the old, not liking new ideas, but where the real problems lie are in the hospitals, my wife has been waiting 4 years for a shoulder op, my sister-in-law 3 years for a new knee. Our friends who work at Adenbrookes are tired and dispirited. Long after Covid has gone. Amazing isn't it. Just how bad does a job have to be to pay a 100k a year and still not get applicants.

The UK isn't broken - most people are just fine. Our leaders just need to stop listening to woke lefty-loons and deluded envirofascists. Well, if they wish to remain our leaders that is. At least dumbo-Rishi seems to be waking up. Which is more than "Sir" Beer Korma is.

Tell that to all the young people struggling with high rents and low wages. Or by most people do you mean those in their 60's and 70's who got rich in better times?

What if it has, are you going to spank me? Only if you beg. Maybe later, but in the meantime, what you are telling us is, politics is badly broken, but at the same time more of the same will be just fine. Whereas most sensible people realise what you say is true, but asking for more of the same would be utter madness.
