So Broken The government are cutting back on Net Zero. That doesn’t bother me too much as it just puts us back with the followers instead of the leaders. As ever. But it sums up the UK today. 10 years of crap growth up to Covid, left us ill prepared and now out of Covid more rubbish growth. Right wingers even suggesting we’d be better off having a dictator (of the right flavour) than so weak a government that can’t lead more than keeping people happy for a few months. Who is going to tell Brits that we need to work even harder for even less reward to get out of the shit hall of debt we currently carry. The rich untouchable as they have convinced us that they would all just leave, which is believable now with the country getting worse every year. And all were focussing on is illegal immigrants that make up a couple of billion of our £2,445 Billion debt. Like that would solve anything. It’s just awful, and I have no suggestions left. Zany.

A bit longer to be the leaders over the net zero cliff is not a bad thing . Yes Covid was a bitch wasn’t it ? I think that we would be just as poor if we had a Labour government instead . Convince me that I’m wrong . Illegal immigrants are a serious issue .

This spectaular Gree House - U Turn by Rishi Sunak brings together The Green Party and the Car Industry onto the same side.
What a fantastic Green record this government now has
There is no river in England that is safe to swim
Water Companies given a green light to carry on pouring sewage into our rivers and sea, whilst bills soar and shareholders rake it in.
The Tories celebrated because they NARROWLY held on to a safe seat in London thanks to ULEZ
A government which urged other countries to abandon coal, and then approved the first coal mine in 30 years.
Sunak finally eased regulations for wind turbines on land earlier this month, after strict rules had effectively banned them since 2015.
Sunak tried to remove the EU-era plan to have a “nutrient neutrality” regime in place for the UK’s rivers, which was meant to reduce substances like phosphates and nitrates getting into our waterways. But the PM’s bid to boost homebuilding was struck down by the House of Lords last week, after peers slammed it as an act of “environmental vandalism”.
No climate pledges in his FIVE PLEDGES, and he was not even going to attend the climate conference in Egypt until he found out Boris Johnson was going.
Some countries and some leaders are leaders, our country and our Prime Minister are followers, we set no example to no one.

No I'll tell you what's environmental vandalism, tens of thousands of trees being culled so Labour can keep their pledge to build build build on Greenbelt land, so the Councils can take their backhanders from property developers who want maximum returns building on Greenbelt, vandalizing our Green spaces while raking in Green taxes from mugs like us, how can they want to save the planet culling trees building on our Green spaces and turning countryside in to concrete jungles.
Don't be giving us the Labour bullshit, they've got mugs like you conned, if it was left to Labour build build build, there wont be any Green spaces left, just urban shitholes that you have to pay to use the roads, the more roads the more ULEZ 20 mph zones.
Housing 2023: Nandy brings green belt and Right to Buy into focus
On the green belt, Nandy called out politicians who are “so afraid of the taboo”, adding that a Labour government will “take on the taboo about what the green belt is and what it isn’t”.
Double Standard hypocrite's.

These decisions regarding where we HAVE TO build homes have nothing what so ever to do with U-Turning on policy which WE MUST implement, and for which there is no alternative, and which 98% of all credible scientists, climatologists and ecologists say we must implement before it is too late. We have to build homes - we do not have to have combustion engine vehicles, the entire industry was geared up for WHAT THE TORY GOVERNMENT HAD PLANNED, and which they have now spectacularly U-Turned on for purely political reasons, putting The Tory Party first before the country, before the plannett, even the car industry is very critical. Mark my words, this will not be good for Sunak

Hundreds of food banks, climate change kicked down the road again, national grid so fucked up renewable generators are giving away free electric, business growth appalling for years. And the important thing is a couple of hundred thousand asylum seekers against the 700,000 we invite every year.

sheepy >> "No Sid, you have helped create a situation where we need to use more land and have less available to grow anything on. Or even just for leisure"
You are on a totally different topic to carbon emission, I believe its called "deflection"
Here in Tory run North Yorkshire, farmland, green belt and agricultural land is been swallowed up at an alarming rate for house building.
SOMETIMES using green belt cannot be avoided, its a question of available places to build versus need for homes
As stated previously, this spectacular U-Turn is not necessary, it is not vital, and even Boris Johnson has criticised it.

Mark my words, this will not be good for Sunak Plenty of Brownfield to build on, but property developers don't get the same returns for their investments, Greenbelt builds always come at a premium, that's why they aren't interested in Brownfield, so Labour want to build build build more houses = more roads, more cars, more pollution, cut down the trees guzzle up the countryside, yes you can't get more Eco-Unfriendly.
In 20mph zones vehicles move more smoothly with fewer accelerations and decelerations. This driving style produces fewer particulate emissions. the health impacts are likely to be negligible. What's flip flops policies, tax us to death, with 20 mph zones and ULEZ?
