You don't agree with community policing then? If, keeping a happy spirit deters people from committing crimes, what's wrong with it? But it doesent stop people committing crimes does it rr? I can remember when females could venture out whithout being molested or our kids playing in the streets whithout ant fear of being picked up by a pedophile or worse. I can also remember the days when people could venture out and have no fear about an arsehole wandering our streets with a machete knife or a gun. I agree with you on a lot of your points and crime has definitely got worse but we all know who is to blame for that. The, very few police that engage with the public in the way Braverman is claiming will not make any difference as to whether females are safe.

You cannot blame "lefty virtual snowflake signallers" for the rise in crime and assaults, that does not make sense.

Community policing was never about coppers joining in the conga at street party . It was about coppers being seen and known in the community. They were a conduit to the public and the face of the first contact with the locals . Police should been seen as completely neutral in social issues . They are the upholders of the law .

Community policing is all about police going into the community and building relationships with the public. What better way to do that than joining in local festivities and being seen as human rather than a threat. The police, at present, are seen as a threat by many groups.

You know full well what I meant and when was the last time you saw a golliwog prancing around like a total twat?
