Nope. He said what I claimed he said . You are asking why professional shoplifters are not treated with the same sympathy as mothers who steal . The question is did he mean it or posted the opposite of what he meant ? Which would be a common sense approach. It’s a bit annoying that his smug friend pops up and claims that he knew what RR meant all along . Either neither of them has a workable grasp of English or RR has a mate that can read his mind .

Suella Braverman makes fresh attack on European court of human rights Suella Braverman has signalled her desire to leave the European court of human rights (ECHR), as she warned that the treaties governing the treatment of migrants were not “fit for purpose in an age of jet travel and smartphones”. The home secretary was speaking last night ahead of a visit to her counterparts in the US, where she will make a speech setting out what she sees as the challenges created by global migration – including small boats across the Channel. “Illegal migration and the unprecedented mass movement of people across the globe is placing unsustainable pressures on America, the UK, and Europe,” she said. “We must come together and ask whether the international conventions and legal frameworks designed 50-plus years ago are fit for purpose in an age of jet travel and smartphones.
The things you mention are the very things that would make it easier to process asylum seekers, empty the hotels and save the UK billions.

We all misread things or misunderstand things. The important thing is to acknowledge when we do. There's a difference between misreading and misunderstanding things, to posts that just don't make any sense, however many times you read it, unless your intellect is on the same level as the offending poster. But you cannot or will not tell me which part 'confuses' you or where I contradict myself.

Read your post . You posted it, you deny it .So you’re the liar . Which post? You seem to have spotted it, that's why you are calling me out, so show me which part I have lied or been mistaken about, I will apologised, as I have done before for mistakes, if I agree. Otherwise I would have to trawl through all my posts and I ain't doing that. You have the opportunity, either take it or shut up.

I understood his post perfectly. Bentley got his understanding back to front. No idea what you actually read as all you said was you didn't get it. Nope. He said what I claimed he said . You are asking why professional shoplifters are not treated with the same sympathy as mothers who steal . The question is did he mean it or posted the opposite of what he meant ? I have never asked for professional shoplifter to be treated with any sympathy, you are making that up. There are a myriad of reasons why shoplifters steal and some cases should be looked at with compassion, I am not even saying let them off, and others who should be banged up and the key thrown away. I would imagine that is the stance of most sane, caring people.

Furious locals stage protest outside luxury three-star Chichester Park Hotel after it closed itself down to house migrants in move that saw hundreds of events cancelled - including demonstrator's 26th birthday party A counter protest was also near to the hotel held by Stand Up to Racism
Furious locals gathered outside a three-star hotel which is set to close in order to house asylum seekers in a move that will cancel hundreds of events as a result, including one woman's 26th birthday party.
Dozens of residents holding placards arrived at Chichester Park Hotel in Chichester, West Sussex on Sunday afternoon claiming they had 'no say' in the decision.
Many of those at the protest said celebratory events had been cancelled after the sudden announcement that the hotel, which is said to be a 'big part of the community', will close tomorrow.
A counter-protest also took place outside the hotel, which saw group chanting support for the arrival of potential refugees in the area.
Police attended to ensure both protests remained peaceful throughout the two hour demonstration, which saw the groups stand on opposite sides of the busy road next to the hotel.

It is of course ridiculous that asylum seekers are being put up in hotels at our expense but while I hear many people blaming the asylum seekers for this problem instead of our incompetent government who will not set out policies to process asylum seekers claims and reduce the burden on local infrastructures.

The problem is that the asylum system allows almost anything to be a case to claim refugee status. Much of the electorate believe that they are being put upon by a system that is weighted towards the wishes of economic migrants and not weighted to the favour of the UK electorate who will welcome people in dire need but recognise that very few who cross the channel fit that bill judging purely on the demographics and the point of departure.
