Wrong on every point Red. Migration has been a problem ever since civilisation. We could stop any vessel entering Uk waters, trouble is we don't usually spot them until they are IN Uk waters and then we cannot legally force them into French waters. What international law could the EU evoke? The Eu have not they encouraged African migration and decreed that any Africans landing on EU soil would not be sent back. They have the same problems we have and America has. Bringing Brexit into it is just daft. Italy and Greece are in the EU and have far more problems than us. BTW. Isn't it time you had your avatar neutered and muzzled? 😅 😂 🤣 Absolute rubbish. This country has never ever faced this level of immigration illegal or otherwise, what's happening today is a first in British history. Lefties used to cite the Hugeunots as an example of immigration to this country, but the 50,000 Hugeunots who came to this country over decades account for just a few weeks worth of immigration today. I say again, this country has never ever faced this level of immigration, illegal or otherwise and we could and should stop it. FFS ZG, have you got access to google? How many times must we go over the same fuckin ground? In 2008/9 the EU opened job centres in Africa, in 2015 Merkel famously said of the African invasion 'Wir schaffen das' (We can manage) She later apologised and said she wished the clock could be turned back, before retiring into an immigrant free tax payer funded life of luxury. The EU are now waking up to the immigrant crisis they encouraged, and even though they are attempting to stop the cross Med invasion they are completely ignoring the cross channel invasion. For years the EU encouraged African migration, the EU facilitates free passage across a borderless Europe to Calais then looks the other way as illegals cross the Channel. And the unelected EU Commission even had the fuckin gall to 'warn' British PM Sunak not ignore decisions by the European Court of Human Rights! I mean who the fuck do these unelected Nazis think they are? The EU is not only incompetent but corrupt, and sadly they will probably get away with flooding the UK with illegals because our politicians are spineless pro EU wankers, but I promise you this: in the unlikely event that Sunak does manage to find his balls and actually stops the cross channel invasion from the EU, he will win the next election because the electorate are far angrier about the illegal invasion than the BBC or left wing press are willing to report. Red can you please try and separate Lega Migrants for Illegal Migrants. It makes answering you sensibly almost impossible. if you want to rant about Legal migration blame the Effin Tories, they could cut that any time. I wasn't thinking of the Hugenots. I was thinking about the Vikings. So Merkel set up job centres in Africa. We import thousands from Africa, What difference? In 2015 the EU let in a million Syrian refugees, what else could they do let them die? We did F'all about Assad as we wet our pants after being told getting the murdering bastard Saddam was illegal. Going out now. FFS separate illegal and legal.

Listened to Starmer on the radio this morning, he all but admitted that if Labour win the election next year, the UK will once again become the 28th EU state.
He said as prime minister he would accept a minimum of 100,000 EU migrants every year (The cross channel invasion would of course continue) and he would renegotiate a 'much closer' Brexit deal with the EU.
Essentially the message Starmer is sending out is: if you are pro EU vote Labour, if you are pro UK vote Tory.

Do the 100,000 Europeans replace a 100,000 Indians? Starmer has been refusing to comment because he knows his policies are unpopular. But with an election 'possibly' a matter of months away he couldn't possibly continue to sit on the fence. His admission that he will allow a minimum of 100,000 EU migrants into the UK every year and seek a 'much closer' relationship with the EU will be seen by his critics as conformation that pro EU Starmer has not changed, with justification his critics will say 'told you so'. He has handed the initiative to Sunak and from now to the election he will be forced to constantly defend his pro EU policies. This will cost him votes. Hopefully lots of votes.

Starmer has read the audience. You are behind the times Red old man. Mrs Red. I know we haven't met, but I care about old Red. Could you maybe take him outside now and then, perhaps even into town. Ooh and make him leave the Daily Express on the sofa.

Mrs R isn't very political, and without a doubt her paper of choice is the Daily Mail (lol) Personally, I used to prefer The Times or The Telegraph but tbh these days they're a bit too left wing for me.

The very poll you cite only shows 48% in favour of rejoining the EU - I had hoped that the amount of lies we had from remain supporters might have reduced over time but it appears not.
