In 2010
There were no NHS waiting lists of any significence
Waiting times in our NHS were low and accepable
NHS waiting lists WERE RISING BEFORE ANYONE HAD EVER HEARD OF COVID-19
NHS Ambulance responce times were normal
Most people could see their GP in 2 or 3 days maximum
Poverty had been much reduced, as had homelesness
Living standards had improved
In the year 2000 the strength of the British Army was 110,000 - In 2010 the strength of the British Army was 110,000 (FACT)
Every public service improved 1997 - 2010, public transport improved, people were better off, families were better off, those on low incomes were better off, older peoples lives improvedwith Winter Fuel Allowances, free bus travel, pension tax credits etc. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Tory apologists on these boards attempting ( very badly ) to suggest that life is somehow better today, are delusional, rose tinted glasses, heads buried in the sand or simply round the f****ng bend.

I am sure you can flood the country with more people to add to the queue, whilst trying to bullshit people about caring.

Matters were getting worse anyway: Look what happened to the cost of housing? The more money from your wage goes on your roof, the less money you have left for food, car, holidays, and any sort of luxuries. Things were already that shit that the first Foodbank opened in 2000. www.trusselltrust.org/about/our-story/Criticise the Tories by all means but don't lie to me and sugarcoat history, Labour were fucking SHIT. And they've learned NOTHING. Our exports to the EU are worth far more and we are paying less to do so. Look at the value of our trade with it. Compare 2015 and 2022 and put 2015 into the Bank of England inflation calculator. £223.3 billion then, £340 billion in 2022. www.bankofengland.co.uk/monetary-policy/inflation/inflation-calculatorYour arguments are born of ideology. I don't like the Tories or Labour. Look at things objectively rather than tribally. Labour need to get their act together if they wish to govern and they've learned nothing from past mistakes. I have never said that Labour were/are perfect and have and will criticise them for getting things wrong, that said. The Tories are out for themselves, we can all see it and some people seem to support them anyway. Debt is higher under the Tories. Standard of living is worse under the Tories. Are those two facts wrong?

No See2, house prices soared because all other investment paths had been fucked up by Labour, including the Tax Exempt Special Savings Account and Personal Equity Plans which Gordon Brown abolished and replaced with shitty ISA's which had a far lower limit on them. With no other savings options left, those with money bought housing as investments, including Tony Blair himself who became a multi millionaire through investing in the booming housing market. His property portfolio became massive while a cost of living crisis started and got worse. Even by 2001 he'd lost millions of voters through fucking us all over. And Labour haven't learned anything from their mistakes, you haven't either, you hadn't a clue. You parrot their lies. Btw Ken Clarke caused economic stability not gormless Gordon Brown. Gordon Brown returned us to boom and bust. He mismanaged the economy, didn't regulate banking and everything went to shit. 1. So people stopped saving and just bought houses. Hmm, so that includes me, I don't think so. 2. Tony Blair made his money AFTER he left office. 3. Which means that most of the electorate didn't feel like yourself. 4. I know and understand more about NL than you for the simple facts that I know false and insinuating propaganda when I see it and I approach NL objectively while you are influence by the propaganda. 5. Brown is recorded in 'Hansard' in 1979 where he made the practice by governments of using boom and bust in order to control the UK economy (the last example of it was 15% interest rates under the Tories) no longer possible. That was the only boom and bust he EVER claimed to have ended. You should read it, it's an eye opener. 6. That is an absolute lie, the IFM did that. 7. Pure biased unadulterated bullshit. EDIT: IIRC the biggest increase in affordable housing was the Affordable Rent or Mortgage system such housing was increased dramatically under New Labour.

So, house prices rocketed up under Labour and then stabilized under Da Tories, yet Tories bad. House prices rise in a sellers market, i.e. when there are more buyers than sellers. When there are fewer buyers house prices will either stabilize or fall. It all depends upon the market. House prices increasing is an indication of a healthy housing market and at best economic ability.

Most punters, and even the rumours are suggesting next Spring, perhaps around May is when the General Election will take place. The forthcoming conference season could very well be Rishi Sunaks last chance to try and turn things around, but with NHS waiting lists set to rise even further, what chance have the Tories got in turning around the polling figures. ?

If Labour give a shit about ordinary people in the UK they will build houses lots of houses with lots of council houses at affordable prices . Not rabbit hutches , decent dwellings . Then they will put the Brits in need at the front of the queue for the council houses whenever possible .

The service, or should I say lack of service from the NHS has gone seriously downhill since March 2020, when the government took over the running of the NHS to have a response to a virus which was treated as the only illness in town. That went on for pretty much 2 years. Since then Covid is the excuse for an abysmal health service. Online appointments within a few days disappeared from the NHS. Only basic services seem to be running. Sid has a point. However, I'd like someone to check Rachel Clarke's figures, as she was a zero covid cultist and posted questionable information in the past.

A&E analysis: NO trust has hit goal of seeing 95% of patients within four hours this year amid emergency care crisis blamed on GPs and strikes EXCLUSIVE: Almost 100,000 patients were forced to wait 12 hours or more in A&E in July READ MORE: NHS braced for surge of patients during the scorching heatwave
Every hospital trust is failing to meet NHS A&E time targets, MailOnline can reveal today.
Under decade-old guidelines, 95 per cent of casualty patients should be admitted, transferred or discharged within four hours of being seen.
But nationally, just 74 per cent of patients in England were seen within this timeframe in July and the 95 per cent target hasn't not been achieved by a major NHS A&E department for a decade.
Our analysis, involving every major NHS trust for the entirety of 2023 so far, found performance sunk to as low as 40 per cent in parts of the country.
Experts said the damning figures laid bare the dire reality inside the country's ailing emergency departments, which are buckling at the seams.

You mean -- If the Tories give a shit about "ordinary people in the UK they will build houses lots of houses with lots of council houses at affordable prices". Two points 1, Labour inherited a huge need for housing from the Tories. 2. It was under a Labour government that affordable rents, affordable mortgages i.e. the affordable homes system were dramatically increased.
