So says an inmate interviewed by the sympathetic BBC. Well that's exactly what it should be like. What do these illegal migrants expect?

How can they afford to pay people traffickers thousands of pounds, yet when they land here in just the clothes they are wearing with no ID, no money, no nothing who do they think is supposed to fund them .... the stupid UK tax payers, it's strange when they are quizzed ... it's all ... me speaky no English ... by fuck when they get to the filling in the benefit forms all of a sudden they speaky really good English.

They are not prisoners even though they have broken the law to get on English soil, however they are being detained to start the long process of who they are and where they are from, whilst also trying to find accommodation for them, however with each passing day it becomes more and more difficult, because some many have arrived in such a short time, allegedly 1,000 in one day. Perhaps you have a solution to this problem that gets bigger and bigger with each passing day, plus more expensive for the taxpayers every day

No surprise there then.....I also posted this link in the Boken thread. Council loses court fight to block Government from using hotels to house asylum seekers as other local authorities also take legal action Stoke-on-Trent City Council lost bid to continue a temporary court injunction Home Office said 'record levels' of arrivals to the UK caused pressure on system One council accused the Home Office of 'absence of any meaningful dialogue' At least three local authorities continue legal action against the government www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11382701/Councils-rush-court-block-Government-using-hotels-house-asylum-seekers.

Quite right, it should be like a prison camp, an uncomfortable prison camp. Perhaps if these people knew they were going to be held in a prison camp rather than 3 & 4 star hotels they would be less inclined to leave the safe EU state of France.

I wonder how long it took for the German people to start saying that about the Jews, Gypsies etc.

I don't know if anyone was listening to Farage last night. He had an video of a group of illegals protesting about the food at the Holiday Inn where they had been put. Ungrateful bastards. Tell 'em to fuck off back to France.

One simple rule to solve the whole issue." No admission without prior permission." Change the law so they have to apply for permission to come here at the British embassy in any European country. If they don't get permission to enter the UK there, they could be put on the first plane back to the last safe country they left if they arrive here.

Anyone that has the correct legal travel documents can enter the UK without hinderance unless they are deemed a threat to the UK or a known undesirable, that has been the case for years, they can enter here entered legally, if they so wish they can ask for Asylum as when and if they get here.
You are assuming should they go the British Embassy or Consulate overseas even if they did and if they are given permission to travel the UK, would you expect Embassy Staff to escort them the plane or ship to get here? or help them across the border? how many a day or week should they deal with, our Embassy Staff are not travel agents.
Even if here in the UK and the decision is they should be deported back to their own country, if not at risk of persecution or death we still find it difficult to deport them, due to Left Wing Lawyers and Left Wing Pressure Groups

I agree mate, that in itself would act as a partial deterent if they knew they were going there for a few months or years with just the essential basics.

We owe them jack shit apart from a good kicking for taking the piss.

Left wing lawyers who misuse legislation in order to keep criminals in this country are a massive issue which the government should address with a sense of urgency. Also, imo the only person who can realistically stop the invasion is Macron. The sooner the government accept this and take off the kid gloves the better. Behind closed doors Macron and the EU are laughing their heads off at the UK who must be punished for Brexit.
