News emerging today that in the latest display of utter incompetence , they have changed the rules in respect of those given refugee status. Quite rightly people who have become refugees are expected to work and support themselves. They get 28 days to vacate state provided housing and find their own accommodation. A tight deadline given they have not been allowed to work while awaiting a decision and have no idea when that decision will be made so no way of preparing for it. The latest genius idea from the Home Office is to change the way of calculating the 28 days. Instead of 28 days from the date the new citizen of the UK is told of their status, it will now be 28 days from the date the decision was made. Due to HO incompetence it usually takes around three weeks for them to get around to communicating their decision. So the message we now give to our new citizens? “Welcome to the UK. We hope you will be a valued citizen of our country. By the way you are homeless at the end of the week.” Staggering. So how many are you going to have under your roof then Dappy? Or are you all wind and piss and expect others to step up to the plate?

Listen to the abuse from the usual suspects. Dear or dear.
As a kid I wondered how on earth the German people could have stood by while their government persecuted Jewish and gay and disabled people, many of whom lived in their own communities. It was incomprehensible.
I fondly believed that in Europe at least we had moved on and that could never happen now. Then come Srebrenica and those illusions were shattered.
We are seeing much the same forces at work now. Politicians with a tame media seeking power by churning out non stop hatred lies and fear towards a small minority promising that only they can protect the gullible masses from this evil group. And sadly some at least are lapping it up. Red at least was openly gleeful when six people drowned in the channel last week. Don’t get me wrong I’m not predicting a new Srebrenica in Woking but it’s the same dark forces operating with the same aims working on the same emotions of the same gullible people. And those gullible people rejoice on being manipulated in this way.

It's yer Slippery Slope™ innit.
Let people be rude about refugees and next thing you know the transports will be rolling again to the East and we'll have another six million stiffs to deal with.

A predictable response Dan. I expected better. Read again and try to understand what I said.

It's you who is trying to draw parallels between atrocities commited during the Second World War and the Balkan Wars and those in present-day Britain who scorn the proggie mantra 'Refugees Welcome'.
I understand perfectly what you trying to say and I reject it completely as ridiculously hyperbolic not to mention ludicrously ahistorical.

How much of our GDP and deficit are you prepared to spend on asylum seekers dappy? Is it OK to ruin our country? - because if we do, they will just move on to another. How do asylum seekers ruin ypur country when you hzve over a million job vacancies, other than by the government only allowing them to do nothing for up to years at a time? Just who is ruining youe country??

Now known by the term economically inactive.

On the amusing side, its it probably the children of the same people once it reaches their own back yard, down at the barge saying they shouldn't be housed there.

I understand perfectly what you trying to say and I reject it completely as ridiculously hyperbolic not to mention ludicrously ahistorical. It took 20 years of generating hatred towards Jews in Germany. It was drip fed by the government, the press, posters, cartoons, dehumanisation and finally the atrocities. Given the inbred need by some to target others and blame them for their own failings, we have safeguards against the inevitable repetitious horror of trying to eradicte the minorities such as the UN and the EU. It dozsnt happen overnight.and due to such safeguards, the inbrzd bigotry and tribal instincts are largely now contained by law.

Impoverish/force them via removing benefits to hose down abbatoirs, clean hospital toilets, cut the ice off cauliflowers or stand for 9 hours cutting up fish? Once more the solutions you and others dream of are just that...imaginary worlds where Willie Wonka and Mary Poppins live.
