Meanwhile back in the real world...... Et cetera. What a pile of crap. For a start the people who arrive by dinghy are not asylum seekers. They're illegal immigrants under the Nationalities and Borders Act 2022. And the Albanians are not accepted as asylum seekers by either Germany or Sweden - but are deported immediately. And England is the main country that these people want to go to. Germany and Sweden are next because they also have generous benefits and a reasonably welcoming attitude, unlike France. But by far the majority want to go to England because of the thriving black economy. They've taken over the Cannabis market. And, FYI most of these people who are coming over now are from Albania (or Kosovo/Macedonia). And two thirds of the people in the overcrowded Manston detention centre are from Albania. And most of them are criminals - unless you can find another reason why people from a country which can travel cheaply legally to the UK would pay a lot of money to people smugglers. They're usually people who've already been deported for offences or have a criminal record. |

But surely it's not very difficult to work out where these people source their dinghies from and close the places down - or license them. Like I said in the OP there are many ways to stop these boats but NONE of them seem to be being used. This has been going on for years and basically nothing has been done. |

All of the people who cross the Channel and enter the UK Unlawfully are processed to try and find out their true identity and country of origin, however many of them do not have any documentation to prove who they are, either taken from them by the smugglers, or disposed of, possibly forged or they have never had any from their own country of origin. That is why it takes a long time to process many of them, especially those who have no paperwork or lie about their identity and or country of origin, it may take weeks or months to get a reply back from say Iran, Somalia, and Afghanistan if they bother to reply or not or have no records of that person at all. IMO they know the longer they can stay in the UK the better chance they have of as being classed a Genuine Asylum Seeker and allowed to stay. Albania is a bit easier because its closer but IMO it is a corrupt society money talks and greases many palms, International Albanian Criminals are allegedly sending millions of pounds from the UK generated as said by selling Cannabis grown in the UK by them, and selling smuggled Cocaine in the UK, they are ruthless they soon get rid of other drug dealers. It matters not who these boat people are or where they come from or what they are, they have all entered the UK unlawfully, but the UK Authorities choose not to prosecute them |

What these idiots in charge don't realize when these young men start to get disgruntled because they aren't living in these FREE fancy houses they were told they'd have, driving fast cars and getting thousands in benefits, they'll turn to crime, and they are ruthless, they wont be robbing houses in poor run down areas, they'll be targeting the well-to-do, like Tamara Ecclestone in wealthy areas of the country, and when they are really pissed off they'll be targeting innocent MPs like David Amess, you'll soon see how quickly these migrants are dealt with when the people in power are in peril.
