Not sure what I think about this. Yes we should help our neighbours and all that but Englands health system is stretched enough as it is without diverting resources to help Wales and Scotland who, lets be fair, wanted to go away and do their own thing. Now they are failing is it really our job to bail them out?

What effect do you believe this will have on the English NHS?

I would have thought it obvious - if you are using capacity to reduce waiting times in Scotland and Wales then that is capacity that cannot be used to reduce waiting times in England.

Are private hospitals currently running at capacity in England? If not, I'm not really sure what the issue is.

If they can go private, so can we, at Barclay's expense. Why not offer it to Ireland, too? France? NO.

I do know for a fact the NHS in England has been sending NHS Patients to Private Hospitals for years and years, in an attempt to reduce NHS waiting lists

English patients first, then Scotland and Wales, why do we always prioritise everyone over English people, is there some sort of hate the English crusade, white English are now the most discriminated people living in the UK, and most of us are now getting fed up of always being the underdog.

Some may well be still employed within the NHS and working in a Private Hospital in their spare time, some will only work in a Private Hospital having retired from the NHS or have never been employed by the NHS

I can only speak about this part of the world but it seems the norm down here.

Seeing that both Wales and Scotland's populations are much smaller their NHS should be far more efficient and have smaller waiting lists than England

It would depend on what Contracts they have with the NHS that dictates how many hours they work per day within the NHS IMO
