And you have the audacity to call me a "bull shitter" ?
The nations which applied no time limit restrictions were The UK, Cyprus, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ireland, however the UK, unlike the other 5, did apply welfare restrictions.
Nations which applied a two year restriction were Finland, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Greece and Luxembourg.
France was the only EU country which applied the full 5 year restriction, but only on certain categories of migrants. No restrictions applied to students, the self employed, researchers or service providers.
I make that six EU nations which did not apply Transition Periods
However, you could argue all day about immigration, and on here people do, but regardless of your opinion on immigration, I know very well that this country under Tony Blair was IMMENSELY better than it is today.
Living standards were rising instead of falling, we saw huge improvements in the NHS and public services, people were better off, we had a long period of sustained growth, the economy did well, unemployment, inflation and interest rates stayed low.
The country today is a mess, and there is barely a year left before this government will be gone, and it will be time for the Tories to think hard about where they have gone wrong, and how to win back power.
