It's not the production of fossil fuels that are the issue you retard it's their burning. Talk about ill-informed. The only way oil is green is if you leave it in the ground as locked carbon. FYI the burning of oil - as I've already pointed out to you - is entirely clean provided that you don't use diesels (as the ecomentalists recommended). CO2 and water are both entirely natural constituents of the atmosphere - in fact they're essential to all life, except some microbes like you maybe. If you're trying to say, in your usual inarticulate fashion, that we're returning the CO2 back to the atmosphere in a shortened timescale to when it was removed, of course. That's the consequence of the increased population. Malthus pointed out many years ago that there is a limit to how many people the Earth can support. But who cares. The CO2 will cause greater growth of plants so it will attempt to balance the shortfall. You don't understand how the Earth's buffering works - or much else. Jeez. You really had to twist your words to make that sound right. Increased atmospheric Co2 is due to increased population. Increased population who are pumping increasing amounts of Co2 into the atmosphere. So in short AGW. You finally got there. Of course there's no reason we cannot have increased population and NOT pump tons of Co2 into our atmosphere and if its a choice between a cull and cleaning up our energy production, I'll go for the latter. As for plants taking up the slack for us, its not happening Co2 part per million in the atmosphere is increasing every year. The plants say they're doing their best but the animals keep eating them and the heat dries them out. Turns out they need more than just tons of Co2.  |

No one in Greece claimed the fires were started by environmentalists. Most are arsonists. Kids who think its funny to start fires. Are their more this year? Or is it just that the land is so dry it takes very little to start a massive blaze. Greek fire fighters are saying the reason many of the fires have started in close proximity is likely due to the ease with which the fires can trigger where a single ember will invariably start a new blaze. When looking at the cause of so many fires across Europe consider that the land has to be very dry to go up in flames so often. So unless eco zealots have stopped the rain as well then I think you're barking up the wrong tree. |

According to Greece's senior climate crisis official the fires were started across the country by criminal negligence and intent. For me this spells out eco-terrorism, which is being peddled by the media as fear porn whilst the left-wing fascists are pushing for more state control over the little man. Sure, environmentalists are burning down forests. In other news the EDL are beating up neo-Nazis. Dont know who is burning down forests , but what we do know is the greek authorities blamed arson for what happened on Rhodes , while the media and others were quick off the mark to imply it was climate change.

I may have said im a member of a weather forum , with a long term amateur interest in the climate . There are arguments for and against man made climate change i have read for years by people better informed than you or i.
What doesnt help the argument either way is the over the top reporting on things like fires as somhow being linked to climate change.
When the greek government blames arson , and anyone who has ever visited an island like rhodes as i have done 30 years ago before climate change became fashionable among middle class liberals , could see its countryside is hot dry and extremely prone to fires , yet climate chagne supporters are reduced to alarmism once more without substance , then you can see why many people are becoming sceptical. Its called over egging the pudding.
You are going to need all the help you can get. When the ordinary working man sees the damage all this net zero malarky is going to do to his standard of life , then all the net zero parties including the muppets in the snp are going to take a fucking tanking at the polls. I think the tories are starting torealise this which is possibly why they are starting to allegedly draw back from commitments , so it will be interesting to see how this all pans out.
ULEZ in glasgow so far has been an unmitigated disaster , with previous pro climate individuals being vocally against the 100 fines a day scam on oridnary working people , not to mention the hundreds of thousands of pounds they have scammed off the motorist.

ULEZ is about air quality not climate change. There is nothing to stop you driving a CO2 belching vehicle into city centres so long as it complies with the rules on how many harmful particulates it emits. |

I drive a 2.2 diesel that complys with glasgows ULEZ simply because of its age , while older vehicles are being punished. The fantasy of vehicle emissions has long been ridiculed since the days of volkswagon caught tinkering to much mirth and laughter.
I mind the jokes going about forums that a nine teen sixties steam engine , with pictures of one belching out black smoke had lower harmfull emissions than a new volkswagon.
ULEZ is part of the climate change scam. organisations like public health scotland are telling us its part of the fight against climate change , and as for glaswegian air pollution we know from data its been falling for years.
