Yer that's why they spend more in real terms. That's real terms, you know including allowing for the GDP, the population and the devalued Sterling Those real terms. by your argument we dont need to spend as much as we dont have so many older people - are you frantically rowing back from that claim now? There can only be two reasons why there are that many over 85's the success of the NHS in the first place or the import of more people. Which Zany seems to be avoiding. |

So Squeezy is not boasting, but I am. Sure. I'm just stating my position, I found it necessary to do so to avoid being dismissed as a jealous leftie failure. The reason you aren't boasting your wealth is because you haven't achieved it. A for me giving my opinion on a politics forum, I say get over yerself. But when I asked you to back up your opinion you couldn't because I guess you hadn't actually done your homework but instead thought soundbites would get you through. Which somehow pretending how wealthy you are is a magic wand. Don't play the game mate .. He won't be happy until this is yet another thread he gets locked.. |

There you go again telling me what I think. Of course the number of 85 year olds is the result of ever improving health care. I thought everyone knew that, sorry you needed it explained. As for increasing the population, yes more people means more health care and more tax revenue. If that's not working don't blame me, blame your government. Either way I am challenging the idea that the NHS has become a behemoth costing more every year by those who refuse to recognise why that is, blaming diversity managers and rainbow crossings. |
