If this establishment had any dirt on him it would be plastered throughout the establishment's MSM by now and repeated as mantra. It cracks me up just how many people, businesses, charities, protest groups, broadcasters, public bodies and politicians are supposed to be part of the establishment. I don't see the relevance myself. It's best to stick to the fact that Farage is being shut down like many others who stood up to the establishment.

Then you are not au fait with what the establishment is. It consists of those who have power as a group or as individuals to thwart, block or change what could be fairly described as the democratic process that is trying to change the current status quo. The establishment is a loose definition of such groups and forces who may chop and change in terms of whether they are part of the establishment or not or more likely being used by the establishment to achieve their ends.

no I can't, but then I never said there was either proof or prosecution. My whole point was that the bar for closing an account is far lower than that needed for prosecution. Hence the use of the word suspect.
Again, we only have Farage's account of what happened. He could easily free up the bank to give their side of the story. He could give them permission to publish. Then if they offered no comment we could draw our own conclusions.
you are doing it again. Trying and miserably failing to pass this off as some normal everyday occurence when it is not.
sure. And we only have your account on what you think has happened.
He could. That pre supposes they are willing to give their side of the story.
We know from other cases that not only have the banks failed to offer a reason in the campbell case , but in other cases they admitted wrongdoing .

Its a mysterious body who's aims are to stop the democratic process. Hmm So the establishment have stopped Labour offering a second referendum on Brexit, because they are aware the this is what the polls show the public want? Or do the establishment only exist if they are stopping the things you want?

What's your evidence of this? 24,000 bank accounts are closed each year, why is this one unusual?
Yes and?
No it doesn't, as I said if they refuse then we could draw conclusions from that.
Then in the Campbell case we can draw our own conclusions based on the banks failure to explain when asked.
There are pretty strong regulations on what your bank is allowed to release about you to the public, they are in the unenviable position of not being allowed their say.

im not a grammar nazi by any stretch but cant a mod put you on a quotation training course?
you are the one making the implication so its up to you to back up your claim. There are 7.5 million bank accounts in the uk , not to mention hundreds of thousands of business accounts , and while i agree the number closing for various reasons iis on the increase , ive yet to hear any evidence in the case mentioned its just run of the mill ordinary every day checks and balances that required farage or any of the others accounts to be closed. If you have proof , please post it and set our minds to rest.
If you dont know , then we can dismiss your unhelpfull suggestions as mere speculation.
self explanatory.
what conclusions? You are the one moaning about specualtion and only having farages version of events one minute , then you further want to dwell on others specualtion that is perhaps helpfull to your implications and suggestions.
Surely we need to hear a cast iron reason why this has happened ? If the bank (s) wont explain their actions , then we are in bad territory.
we have done. Campbell suggested its down to his former bank , first direct , being part of the hsbc group who support transgender issues. Campbell being a vocal critique of trans issues. This if true is wrong.
we have covered this ad nauseum up the thread.

Blaming the establishment for everything you don't like is ridiculous. I had this discussion a long time ago, with Kim. She didn't understand the dangers of the establishment, either. She didn't accept that many important decisions were made in smoke-filled backrooms. I can confirm it happens in government and in business.

You think removing your questions from between my answers makes it easier to follow? Really, maybe you could take the lesson first.
I did, my back up was that 24,000 accounts are closed each year so closing one more is not suspicious. The amount of accounts is academic as most have been around far longer than the "each year" used as my reference.
I don't have evidence, but nor do you have evidence for the much more serious claim that the establishment are systematically shutting the bank accounts of those they supposedly do not agree with. That is the point. Just because Nigel Farage says that's what happened doesn't make it true. Especially Nigel Farage who has a history of lying.
You dismiss them anyway. All posts on this topic are speculation until we hear both sides of this story.
Clearly not.
Jeez. If the bank explain and it sounds reasonable you can draw one conclusion. If the bank refuse to explain you can draw a different conclusion. I'm not a grammar Nazi, but can you have a look at how many of your words have red lines under them before you post.
Is this Cambell's opinion or did the bank tell him this?
And yet not recognised its importance.

They are far more likely to be made by right wing wealthy people against the left and the minorities.
