I'm not convinced he was wronged. I think he has been. Surely having your account closed down without reason is being wronged. Normally we say innocent until proven guilty. I have yet to see any guilt proved that justifies the closing of farages account.
Whatever dimwitted genius thought this was a good idea to close his account needs demoted immediately.
You're unlikely to see any evidence, banks don't share that sort of thing with the public.

GB News have just read out a list of people and organisations who have recently, over the past couple of years, had their bank accounts cancelled, and they are all considered to be politically right of centre and/or have non conforming views such as saying a woman cannot have a penis. There's something quite sinister going on here and if lefties are happy with it, then we are entering dangerous times. Were they all rich and involved in finance as well?

Wow! You a lot of effort into that Tommy. Cheers. I only read the first couple of lines. If you have something important to say, and you want to be sure I read it, make a point of including it in your first or second line. I love you, Tommy, but I'm not in love with you. That's just too much effort. Anyway, here's some food for thought: The Scottish Nationalist movement needs the hardest Brexit possible for the longest time possible. You will have been delighted when Boris got in in 2019. Nothing would make you happier than Rees Mogg as the next prime minister. Brino will kill the Scottish Nationalists’ dream. That’s what lies behind your righteous indignation towards Remainders, Tommy. I doubt anybody thinks otherwise. darling you are repeating yourself mate while frothing at the mouth. I dealt with this earlier in my post. Could you post factual evidence , links whatever that shows scottish independance supporters are desperate for a hard brexit and for that hard brexit to last as long as possible?
I know you think we scots have immense power of thought control over the english , but really mate , rather than sneering at a mere 5.5 million of the uks 68 million population and blaming us for brexit , surely you need to concentrate your fire on the millions in england and wales who got the leave vote through?
We supported you darling , did our bit for remain , and you blew it in your own country mate. No good crying to me now that this is all some ingenious plot by indy supporters to muck up the uk and take scotland out?
Meh! Labour need Scotland more than the Conservatives do. Starmer's going to kill two birds with one stone: he's going to undo as much of the Brexit damage as possible and solidify Scotland's place in the union at the same time. Don't believe me? No? I think I can live with that.

Bit rich, but not entirely unexpected. Of course not entirely unexpected, because I thankfully have the ability to reason, while all you offer is your ability to insinuate that the sky is about to fall in. Ah contraire, I do not think the sky is about to fall in, or that acid rain is about to kill all fish & forests, or that we are about to die in another ice age, or that we are about to die in a heatwave, or that New York City will be underwater by the year 2000, etc, etc, et al. And that's because, I'm not interested in left wing apocaliptic predictions of which there have been many, not one of which has ever come to fruition. But hey, be a dear and do my panicking for me will you, I'm going to get a cold beer.

You're unlikely to see any evidence, banks don't share that sort of thing with the public. They dont have to .They can share the evidence with the individuals involved , who can then inform the public.

No I don't think so, I attempted to scribble them down but I cant write as quickly as someone can speak, and I don't do shorthand.

My point is public pressure should force them to justify why they are closing peoples accounts.

Once in the last century of elections has scotland made the difference to a uk election . Labour need to win in england to become government. Tony blair understood that , shame you dont.
The english brexiter public being forced back into the dreaded EU to appease the scottish minority ? What could possibly go wrong darling? I tell you darling you are too fast for me mate.
One glass of bubbly and you will sell your soul and your country to anyone to get back into your beloved eu wont you?

Has anyone else noticed that lefties on the forum cant see the big picture. See2, Brave New World is a dystopian novel, not an instruction manual. FFS you lot (lefties) are dangerous. Indeed. As Orwell said: "So much of left-wing thought is a kind of playing with fire by people who don't even know that fire is hot."
See it right here on this very thread.
For such a small forum it's disturbing how many are on here.

Yeah, you didn't hear what I said about long posts. Keep them short, seal them with a kiss, and you and I will get along just fine, Tommy.

I have no doubt the truth will come out at some time and if it shows that Farage is a bad bet for a Bank there will be a lot of people with egg on their face. How so? Why is farage , a right of centre brexiter , a bad bet for a bank , and who decides this? Wh isnt keir starmer , a centrist , a bad bet for a bank ,but yet stuart campbell of wings over scotland , a left of centre liberal is also a so called bad bet for a bank?
Do you not actually understand what is being said here? Or how people being cancelled is bad news in a so called civilsed democracy?
If , and its a big if , this is nothing more simple than a normal run of the mill closing down of someones account for mild reasons , it could have been far better handed as i have said. It hasnt been , and farages office must be cheering on the stupidity of someone somewhere giving the man a large dose of publicity and vast amount of public sympathy.
It doesnt look a simple open and shut case though. Its happened to too many people across the political spectrum , that this goes way beyond mere coincidence. The one thing they all have in common is supporting views that dont fit with the established narrative.
Why am i not surprised you new labour luvving so called champions of democracy and the working class are all out supporting this outrage though? We all remember new labours bonfire of civil liberties last time you were in power , so its no suprise to me you support farage being closed down.
The shocking truth about the erosion of our fundamental civil liberties by Tony Blair's government will be exposed this summer in TAKING LIBERTIES, released on DVD in the UK cinemas by Revolver Entertainment October 15th 2007. Right to Protest, Right to Freedom of Speech. Right to Privacy. Right not to be detained without charge, Innocent Until Proven Guilty. Prohibition from Torture. TAKING LIBERTIES will reveal how these six central pillars of liberty have been systematically destroyed by New Labour, and the freedoms of the British people stolen from under their noses amidst a climate of fear created by the media and government itself. TAKING LIBERTIES uncovers the stories the government don't want you to hear -- so ridiculous you will laugh, so ultimately terrifying you will want to take action. Teenage sisters detained for 36 hours for a peaceful protest; an RAF war veteran arrested for wearing an anti-Bush and Blair T-shirt; an innocent man shot in a police raid; and a man held under house arrest for two years, after being found innocent in court. Ordinary law-abiding citizens being punished for exercising their 'rights' -- rights that have been fought for over centuries, and which seem to have been extinguished in a decade.
1. The problem here is that YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE ACTUAL REASONS why the Banks have closed down some accounts. You haven't even considered the kick-backs on the banks from those who support the like of Farage, or from people who do not like what is happening. IMO there is likely to be some entirely acceptable and responsible reasons for closing these accounts, and if there isn't then the accounts will be reopened. 2. In terms of Blair. All you have are your strong (misguided) opinions, your strong bias and your desire to believe any old shit thrown about by Blair's distractors. I am certain that you have never ever once bothered to do any objective research on any of accusations against Blair. You are just so over willing to swallow the shit thrown at him.
