You are now reduced from trying to invest puerile arguments about banking and various other excuses throughout this thread , as your arguments fell one by one , to one line last word posts and banal exchanges.
You're probably right. It doesn't matter what you say, its what people want you to have said that matters. in what way? I argue , and disagree with many on this forum all the time. Many of the brexiters on this thread are completely opposed to my politics in terms of scot indy , but that doesnt mean i cant sometimes take the same view on certain subjects.
I think your problem is your politics and views are so out of touch with most folk on this forum you feel wrongly everyone is ganging up on you. Its not that everyone is some homogenous politcal group out to get you on here , but its more the crazienss of your liberal centrist new labour style politics in this forum is so out on a limb with the disparate views on here that many of us share common disgust at much of what you say.

As we saw with th last labour government , they were anything but moderate centrists.
I , as a scottish independence supporter , couldnt be any more politically isolated on what is essentially a majority english forum , yet it never occurs to zany that its not that im part of a homogenous majority out to get him , more that he is a minority himself that the various peoples and politics of the uk dont politically agree with.

And I am not an Independence supporter as it would bring into more power some pretty crazy progressives as the SNP prove time and time again and even some pretty idiotic Labour members from some years back. It is a strange world having been on the left for many many years and still having a largely LW view that I now see clearly that the left in general have become an intolerant bunch of, and I can find no other word, fascists. I am an Anglophile and I do find it disgraceful what is being done to England and the English but I can also see clearly that eventually the same will be done to Scotland if it remains in the UK the problem being it will happen more quickly if we leave. |

It's good that it has been totally exposed and at this higher level within the entire banking system in the UK, because with this torchlight on them the people have every reason to show them nothing but absolute contempt.

It's just standard polarised thinking. The last few posters and myself all have (sometimes very) different views yet as soon as we disagree, however minutely, with a lefty we are all suddenly all "Far right, Brexiteer Blob".
That no such exists is lost on them. And I just can't take people like that, nor any of their views, seriously.

Brexit has nothing to do with any of the current problems, it's nothing to do with high inflation, it's nothing to do with high energy prices, it's nothing to do with rising food bills, it's nothing to do with council tax rises, it's nothing to do with Khan and his ULEZ madness, it's nothing to do with the war in Ukraine, it's nothing to do with COVID, so WTF are we even talking about Brexit being responsible for any of that ^^
