I recall an interview he did with Peter Mandelson and the subject turned to 'being out of power' Tony talked about his dethroning and said something like this - "When you are out of power you, of course, do what you can..you build up your power base" ..and i remember thinking, "Do you really? - why can't you simply retire or pursue something honest? Is this an entirely honorable endeavor considering you are leveraging your now defunct elected role, but you are no longer elected by anyone to do anything at all?" I regularly visit his institute whilst holding my nose and sick bag in other hand to see what he’s up to,on top of this there are two charities? One in his another in his wife’s name. The uk charity industry (because that’s what it is) needs an overhaul from top to bottom like the HoL does, will it happen? doubt it. He's one to watch. A lot of political disquiet in the UK is in reality the UK people trying their best to finally get Tony Blair out of office. He sewed up the system so he effectively stays permanently in power through the frameworks he left in place. The next labour admin will make it illegal to address the situation.

According to the latest news from the media
Farage said Coutts has offered to reinstate his personal and business accounts, with the former Ukip leader also seeking compensation from the private bank.
Mr Farage said the “fight goes on” as he outlined his desire for a face-to-face meeting with the bank’s bosses in a bid to understand how many other people have been affected by account closures.

Quite the stat from Dominic Lawson in the Sunday Times:
More than 5,500 customers have had their bank accounts closed by @natwestgroup
. None was able to talk to anyone at the bank about why it had happened. Some were told to "use a food bank".
use a food bank ? Who could possibly be cheering this sort of debanking scandal on except the utterly deranged ?
Maybe if Nigel is the Guy they want him to be then something good might come out of this beyond him getting some more dosh.

So the new boss at Coutts has told Farage that he can keep both his personal and business accounts open with them.
A monumental PR disaster for NatWest that was totally self inflicted - serves them right.

An episode of massive, self-inflicted reputational damage.
So not only do they still have Nigel on the books but they've outed themselves as disingenuous grifters who are unable to maintain client confidentiality.
And banks will now be subject to further regulation which they clearly need.

But on the upside, the gloating leftard fascists now look even more stupid than they already did.
Now that's funny! 🤣

As far as I know no new laws regulating the banks have been enacted yet. Although in he meantime the BOE has sent their profits up there amongst the other corporations.

Oh I've no doubt that the mutually masturbating bonobo troupe will shortly reappear to fling some more of their poop around, in the vain hope that it doesn't all stick to themselves.😉

Give him a chance, Drippy. Even you took over 120 pages to start virtue signalling. As usual, you were too busy flinging shit to actually give one.

Just curious.
