Well of course they will, if ever there was a cast iron guarantee, this is it. More diversity in politics lol. Never in my lifetime thanks largely to diversity has the calibre of MP's been so low, yet Labour want more diversity, more ethnic minorities. And you can bet your life that if diversity quotas are not met, than as is the trend standards will be lowered, and anyone who dares to raise so much as quizzical eyebrow will, as tradition demands, be shouted down as a nasty racist bigot. www.theguardian.com/politics/2023/jun/21/labour-diversity-tsar-remove-barriers-enter-politicsI wonder, when Raynor announces this master stroke of lefty virtue signalling, will she be on bended knee while waving a rainbow flag?

Labour are hung up on identity politics . Rayner is a white ginger bint without any discernible talents . . If white privilege exists the Rayner is an example of it.

Why would you not want to remove barriers to for example women and those from working class backgrounds entering politics. Surely we want the best quality politicians we can get not just those who happen to be rich?

As far as I'm aware the biggest group who face barriers these days are white English hetrosexual men.

The ones the article outlines and others
Half of MPs and two thirds of the cabinet went to private schools for example.

The article is a joke and Rayner is a perfect example of the very thing she claims isn’t happening. Lefties have to construct new victimhoods and victims.

The ones the article outlines and others Half of MPs and two thirds of the cabinet went to private schools for example. Maybe private schools tend to produce better educated pupils.

And better connected ones.
Which is part of the problem this proposal seeks to address.

And better connected ones. Which is part of the problem this proposal seeks to address. Ah, the politics of envy joins identity politics and is endorsed by the most over promoted Labour politician . Predictable really.

You seem to have become incoherent and resorted to just throwing insults.
