His security detail does not sit in on meetings as you say but as foreign secretary at the time they should have been there for his and our protection. It was a private meeting with a known Russian spy and his advisors, part of his security detail, were not present. Johnson had just been to a NATO meeting discussing Russia and then flew off to meet a Russian spy, and that's OK for some people. Patriotism only seems to extend as far as sitting in front of a flag in some peoples minds. What would you say if Corbyn had been in the same position and done the same, that's how you test your honesty. There is a difference between meeting someone and the decisions taken towards that person or country. Nobody can honestly claim that Johnson is in the pocket of Russia, so what exactly is the argument against meeting people who were involved in that regime in the past? How do you know know he was only meeting someone who was involved with Russia in the past? Spy's do not tell the truth, that is part of the job description. "Come on now luvvies let's forgive and forget", really does not sound like you.

That's the point is it not, we don't know and there should be an investigation. Why as foreign secretary did he leave a NATO summit discussing Russia and immediately fly to Spain without security or advisors to meet a Russian spy? Why did he elevate the son of a known Russian spy to the Lords against the advice of the security services. Do you not think these questions need answering? If it had been Corbyn you would?

We send the arms and armoury to the Ukraine, do you honestly think a traitor will come out and object to what the whole of the UK want to do? What we don't know is what he told the Russians while he was having his cosy chats.

It is quite possible, we do not know what the meeting was about as no advisors were present. Corbyn was never PM or foreign secretary so it is a moot point, if he had slipped his advisors and security while holding a position of power to meet up with the IRA, then yes, the charge could be levied but he was not and did not. But you will not answer the question as to "If Corbyn had done what Johnson did would you opinion be different or would you defend Corbyn in the same way"?

Imagine this, Boris could be re-elected as an MP which would make all these investigations inquiries and committee reports absolutely pointless lol.

We share a lot of beliefs in socialism, but here you are making socialism look crack pot.

Do you mean the Russia that invaded Ukraine, is that not the Russia of old? Johnson was talking to a KGB agent without his advisors having given his security detail the slip right after leaving a NATO conference on Russia and just after a chemical attack was carried out on British soil by the Russian state and I look like a crack pot?😂
