Well I think I can safely say I have rattled a few cages of the intolerant, xenophobic variety
Its a news story about a man who stabbed several innocent people, in particular innocent children, and the background of the man is that he's a Syrian national who was living in Sweden but moved to France. He clearly has psychiatric problems ( as widely reported from France, by eye witnesses, and by the French police ), he also just happens to be a Syrian Christan.
The way I look at this news item is in a very straight forward, and much simpler way than other posters - I see a man who has committed a particularly nasty crime, and its that simple.
OTHER posters feel its all connected to taking in refugees from war torn Syria, or that its a reason to oppose European Freedom of Movement, and others think its got something to do with Islam.
Others called him a Terrorist ..... Syrian, foreigner, Islam, terrorist ... see how their minds work ?
He's a criminal, and his criminality is at least partly caused by a mental disorder of some kind

Dunno maybe Sydney is another one who has disappeared up his own orifice. Why would a bloody Crhristian attack other Christians FFS.....PS lets hope he stays there. Seems Satanic to me. Perhaps he's a Satanist, because Jesus did not tell people to go round stabbing babies and toddlers in His Name. I'm pretty sure that's not in the Bible. |

I do realise that you right wing populists want me to somehow admit that this criminal is a criminal because he is a dirty, rotten foreigner, and a refugee, and therefore all foreigners and all refugees are nasty, evil criminals.
But thats not going to happen
