A Syrian refugee screamed 'in the name of Jesus Christ' as he repeatedly stabbed a toddler in his pram in front of his screaming mother in a frenzied attack at a French playground that saw four children knifed.
The attacker, identified as Abdalmash H, 31, clinched onto a necklace with a crucifix on it before he launched his 'abominable' rampage in a lakeside park in the town of Annecy, a tourist hotspot in southeastern France, at around 9.45am.
Distressing video shows the attacker running into the small playground and repeatedly stabbing a toddler in his pram while his screaming mother tries to protect him from the attack.
Further dramatic footage shows the attacker, a recently divorced Syrian refugee who has declared himself a Christian, later being chased across the park by locals and cops before he was shot by a police officer and pinned to the ground.
Horrified witnesses say mothers ran past them screaming 'run, run' in the aftermath of the frenzied attack, which President Emmanuel Macron has condemned as 'absolute cowardice'.
Four children aged between 22 months and three - including a British girl - and two adults were seriously injured in the attack. Two of the young victims and one of the adults are now in a life-threatening condition at a nearby hospital.

Why on earth did you say that, the OP simply posted a news item without comment. Do you have any grounds for disputing this particular news item, or is it simply that this quite predictable event doesn't accord with your own opinion on uncontrolled immigration.
It certainly isn't a cheap political point and it beggars belief that you use the horrific deaths of children in these circumstances to make completely unsubstantiated attacks on a fellow poster.

No, I don't for one moment think that Jonksy approves of what happened. My objection is to the way these tragedies are often used by the Right. Just look at the title to this thread. It's not exactly sympathetic. It's not about the victims, but two groups of people the author of the OP despises. |

As he is now a legal resident of the EU, FoM rules mean that he is fully within his rights to be in France. |

A criminal is a criminal, irregardless of whatever race, nationality or faith that person is
But what often makes criminal acts complicated is mental health - a much better topic for discussion would have been SHOULD WE LOOK UPON PURPETRATORS OF CRIME WHO HAVE PSYCHIATRIC CONDITIONS DIFFERENTLY ?
My own view is that the Number 1 priority in considering such people is the safety of the public, a person with mental health issues who committs such terrible crimes cannot escape punishment, but the punishment must take into consideration the persons mental state.
Its why we have secure hospitals, its why we have Broadmoor and Rampton ... punishment - isolation from the public - treatment.
