The court may have decided it was not racially motivated and I will happily admit I am mistaken here but the court very definitely did not decide that Chauvin ''was simply restraining a violent criminal''. The court convicted him of murder although it took mass demonstrations to even get the matter investigated. Without those demonstrations it is possible that he would never have faced prosecution. Chauvin wasn't prosecuted because Floyd died. He was prosecuted because the state were terrified of black mobs rioting if he wasn't. He was prosecuted because he killed a person in front of the whole world while his colleagues stood around doing nothing to stop it. It wasn't the demonstrations that forced the prosecution it was the videoes of his crime becoming headline news across the planet. Same as the video of Rodney King's murder led to the prosecution of the officers involved.

I don't condone Chauvin's actions (that's not how you restrain someone) but "Find him guilty or else" isn't my idea of justice.

Except that in most cases, black people are found to be innocent of committing any crimes after been stopped and searched. Also, many black people are stopped multiple times, dozens of times, and each time they are innocent and have not committed any crime. Now you can put forward any excuse you so wish, but if I was a young black man who had been stopped and searched SIXTY TIMES, I would be very fucking angry, and I would be extremely resentfull of the police. Its not acceptable, and it needs sorting out, otherwise the resentment will boil over and then you will be on here complaining about black people rioting. How do you wish the police to deal with crime, and protect the public, in areas of mostly black people. These are areas with high crime rates.

The only reason it went viral was because virtue signalling lefties insisted on taking the knee, fad that didn't last long, in support of BLM an organisation who has since proved to be totally corrupt which has made all the companies who donated large sums of money look bloody stupid.

I don't agree. Are you claiming that Floyd's death was justified? I don't think it would have been unreported if the races involved were swapped.

I'm saying the only reason Chauvin was charged is because he was white and Floyd was black.

How do you wish the police to deal with crime, and protect the public, in areas of mostly black people. These are areas with high crime rates. Easy ... by arresting guilty people, or arresting suspects, or by stopping and searching people who you have reasonable grounds of suspecting that they could of committed a crime, except this is not what is happening. People are randomly been stopped and searched, and IN MOST INSTANCES they are found to be innocent people. Is there something you dont understand or grasp ? - we should not be living in a country where the Police can stop, search, and question you for no apparent reason. But it is happening

or by stopping and searching people who you have reasonable grounds of suspecting... That's exactly how Stop & Search does work. Now please stop lying, there's a chap.

But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and accept your plea of ignorance.

Is there something you dont understand or grasp ? - we should not be living in a country where the Police can stop, search, and question you for no apparent reason. But it is happening Well, according to this site www.police.uk/pu/your-area/city-of-london-police/performance/stop-and-search/I have read through the statistics and with around 850 to 1000 incidents of the police deciding they had reasonable grounds to stop and search someone, more than one in four of the searches led to police action against the person searched as a direct result of the search in question turning up something illegal. In the figures published zero searches were not recorded. Yes, almost three out of four of the people searched had nothing illegal on them. But more than one in four did, and were orevented from carrying out whatever act they intended. To my mind that is possibly two hundred and fifty serial killers stopped from carrying out their criminal acts. Of course it could be two hundred and fifty drug dealers off the street. Or a combination of both Given the fucking lousy clear-up rate for crime committed, i say two hundred and fifty crims found and action taken is a job fucking well done
