It's not the police who are choosing to block roads and prevent normal travel. It's the likes of Extinction Rebellion and Just Stop Oil. Treat them as terrorists. Their behaviour could kill someone. Tasers, pepper spray, riot rounds. Get them off the fucking roads. But Keir Starmer has already hired Extinction Rebellion's lawyers, and is currently taking in loads of money from Just Stop Oil multi-millionaire financial backers and supporting their demands. |

The lady assaulted the motorcyclist? What illegal act was committed by the demonstrators on the road? Is it public nuisance? I don't know anything about this area of law, but a very cursory google search found this article: www.britannica.com/topic/nuisanceThe article states: 'While a public nuisance, as such, is actionable only by the state, through criminal proceedings, injunction, or physical abatement, the same activity or conduct may also create a private nuisance to neighbouring landowners and thus result in a civil suit.' If this is correct (it may not), then the motorcyclist wasn't entitled to physically abate the nuisance (because only the state can physically abate a public nuisance). When he nudged against the protestor with his motorcycle, he was committing an assault, and that woman was coming to the assistance of someone who was being assaulted. The man who got out of the van and ripped up the protestors' banners and then placed them inside his van will have committed criminal damage and theft. This isn't something I know anything about, so I'm happy to be corrected. Only you know how you've come to that conclusion. The man on the motorbike slowly drove through a banner. Now, how you try to play semantics on that video evidence supporting the idiots without a job is anyone's guess. |

He supports the financial backers of eco terrorist groups. He is a member of a party which last time it was in government, destroyed almost all decent savings and investment options leaving housing as one of only very few ways to guarantee above inflation investments. He did not quit the Labour Party when Blair the war monger was in charge. And he did not protest against the illegal invasion of Iraq. Last time his party was in power they launched a multi billion pound raid on private pensions as well. No, he should not be Prime Minister. I hope he loses his seat. |
