If you do not believe the police are not doing their job, why don't you sign a petition or even get out onto the streets and protest, it could be a worthy cause and I am sure you would have a lot of support. How do you know I haven't signed a petition? The police are there to arrest criminals not make them frigging cups of tea dead nag. I know that my question is why? You call them woke but the officers on the street follow the orders of the Home Secretary, what is she doing? |

Not many people like violence but some of us realise that some situations need a physical solution . Im sure if someone blocked your drive , your solution would be to burst into tears and do nothing but that isn’t a solution is it? |

It seems that most posters agree that the protesters have a right to protest but are going about it in a wrong way. That is my position as well. Perhaps we could ask all posters to make an attempt to come up with a positive and effective protest that might in fact bear results for the protesters. A beneficial approach to replace this non-beneficial one.? I usually write to an MP or other relevant person. I'm thinking in terms of demonstrating directly to the public in an effective but positive manner, their present way of demonstrating is causing more damage to the environment thereby making idiots of themselves. Notwithstanding the fact that the UK has already done and is doing, a lot to promote green energy. |

If someone tries to block you on the pavement, you can do the same. Deliberately blocking someone is implicitly a threat, but the threat isn't needed. These things are called human rights btw. Another example - if someone gets it to your car without your permission and wont leave, you can haul them out. |
