It is not illegal to stop criminals in the act, just like if you were outside that supermarket with the old lady at the cash machine who was causing a big queue, and someone robbed her, as a citizen we would be able to use reasonable force to apprehend the culprit in his/her act of crime, and that's what road uses are doing, stopping criminals.
Self defence I understand but this is not the case these vigilantes are 'targeting' peaceful protesters, who will be next? Pillock they are fucking criminals NOT peaceful protesters dead nag. |

No, what is quite clear that every single morally decent law abiding people of this country you seek great pleasure in watching them being antagonised, and their lives disrupted by the loony left woke snowflakes, even though I strongly suspect you know differently it serves your purpose to 'wind' us up.
Just to be clear, in the real world you would be ignored for the insignificant person that you are, so get your attention here, it's the only place anyone will acknowledge you in any way, shape or form.

Seems those who go through life 'unnoticed' but want to be noticed realise that they aren't being noticed for being upstanding pillars of the community, doing and thinking what we morally accept as 'normal'.
They have devised new ways of getting themselves noticed, and that is by being controversial, they don't care how they get attention as long as they get it.

Their intent is to get decent wages, do you not believe nurses, doctors........ should be fairly compensated for their efforts? You've lost me now, how has a slow protest march 'just stop oil'... on highways holding up law abiding citizens going about their daily business got anything to do with 'nurses, doctors?

You appear to be agreeing with me! I do agree that the protesters are using the wrong tactics by 'obstructing' the highway but nobody has the right to assault them in their protest. It is the police who are to blame and one has to wonder why they do not use their powers. Could it be because arresting pensioners would not be a good look and would cause uproar in the general population? Which in turn would give the protesters the 'platform' that they want. It seems that most posters agree that the protesters have a right to protest but are going about it in a wrong way. That is my position as well. Perhaps we could ask all posters to make an attempt to come up with a positive and effective protest that might in fact bear results for the protesters. A beneficial approach to replace this non-beneficial one.? |

It's a citizens duty to assist a police officer when called upon in the execution of their duty. When the police are not there, they use their initiative as if they had asked.  |
