The biggest problem for AI will come when it tells the truth and "We" don't like it.
Like the Google AI that became "Racist". I have no idea what it actually said, but given that a machine has no emotion or prejudice how can it be racist?
What if it says that a woman can't in fact have a penis - it will be deemed to have "Malfunctioned" and will be shut down.
I love AI. The powers-that-be only love it until it tells them something that doesn't fit the narrative.

A second by second heuristic examination of viewing will allow an Ai to provide a statistical analysis of a film's likely success based on its similarity to other films This will allow the film industry to produce better films almost without effort, tedium or risk. The technique is already used to great effect by the music industry.
But will produce films that are substantially all the same.
I know that sounds bad but people will quickly get used to it.

I fear some are being over-optimistic. I think we are now about 20 years ahead of where I thought we would be now 3 years ago. I do mean optimistic, because i do think the notion that this development is not that meaningful is the optimistic view. It's possible to come up with AI howlers, but humans also create a lot of mirth when they are a few months old Think of this thing like a baby - you probably have about 7 years before it starts being really naughty and answering you back. Well every year for the past 10 years Elon Musk has been promising that next year we would have full autonomous cars available - and we are still just as far away as we were when he started. When will we see real technological progress?

Don't expect the Ai to puncture any bubbles of delusion "Collect all the available evidence that moon landings happened and create a cohesive, plausible scenario that explains all of that evidence without the moon landings actually having happened."

Well unless someone says otherwise we are all shooting in the dark regards this, however when those who are in the know in detail about this technology are alarmed then we are right to be worried.

There will likely be re-education centres for AI-bots that stray off the reservation, just as there are for us.

if it's told to weave a particular narrative and world view into every answer it provides, and additionally never reveal that it is doing so, it will do so very seamlessly.

Who would believe it? It would become crapbot by the unethical computing foundation. Perhaps in time they could make subtle changes if the purpose is a propaganda bot. The internet will suck.

But are you ready for AI at socialist HQ darling? We sure are, Champ. Well it seems there are suddenly a few very shaken people by AI. Strange that most of them were thinking how wonderful it was such a short time ago.
