Rubbish. The labour party , based in london in your country , told the branch in scotland to privatise scottish water prior to 2007 , and labour were promptly kicked out before they could complete water privatisation . That resulted in a system where business pays private water rates in scotland , but the public pay for a nationalised system in their council tax. What nonsense are you wittering on about now - England does not set water charges in Scotland. If you want less sewage in your water then you are free to pay whatever it takes. You said "england" does not get a say on water in scotland , and im showing an exmaple of where an english based party in london did get a say.
We have far less than you mate , with far lower charges , far more water investment , and of course with 9 % of the uk popualtion , we have 90 % of the uk freshwater and two thirds of the uk EEZ.
Isnt scotland great? No wonder you are desperate to keep us.
I tell you pacifico , apart from sniping at all the other great countires around you , what exactly does little england have apart from the city of london???

Well on the amusing side, the local GP's don't want to see anyone now, you might get to see a nurse practitioner but the chances of actually seeing a GP is about nil. I fear they fear you might give them something nasty or incurable.

No it did not - setting water charges is a function of Scottish Water and the Scottish Government. English politicians and party's have nothing to do with it. At some point you are going to have to put your big boys pants on and accept some responsibility.

I very much that is the root of the problem, more of a chance to say Brexit is the root of all evil. If only we had listened to our European chums all would be well. I somehow doubt that as well. LOL

Every scottish branch manager of the labour party as far back as wendy alexander , if not before , has complained bitterly and loudly that they cannot set labour party policy in scotland , it is set in london at the behest of the british labour leader.
Johann Lamont resigns as leader of Scottish Labour party
Lamont’s decision comes as she accuses colleagues of trying to run Scotland ‘like a branch office of London’

I thought you english tories hated scotland having a few wee areas of Devolved responsibility and wanted devolution overturned and ended?
I cant keep up with the constant lame excuses by you anglo tories of the mess past and present you have all our countries in mate.
You fuck up every aspect of privatisation in england , including the farce that is water privatisation , and then bleat about how scotland has 98 % superb beaches , and far far higher quality of drinking water in our nationalised water industry , while scraping about in the dirt looking for a scottish squirrel to deflect from the mess of tory england.

well to be honest we never should have allowed the country to descend into the state where we relied for our health services on denuding other sovereign states of the staff they need to maintain theirs. In the seventies our real universities not some jumped up technical college handed the name as a joke could boast an intake of several hundred life science undergraduate starters. Hell, there were over a hundred medical students in the 1976 intake to the Faculty at Cardiff alone, i was one if the almost eight hundred people assembled at the start of term address across all the life sciences to see it for myself. Thatcher started many trends but among the more shameful was the abandonment of training up our own children snd the theft of other countries.

Im giving pacifico an education on the quality of glaswegian highland spring tap watter , and how the superior quality of our freshwater and of course bathing water means we excell at everything from brewing whiskey with an e , to brewing superb lagers and swimming in clear blue seas while pacifico sits at margate beach watching the turds float by.

Tell pacifico and the other english tories who worship the woman. Mind maggies infamous YTS disaster , after abandoning centuries of apprenticeships?
All these years later , and all our countires are still living with the shadow of england allowing the uneducated to vote that woman and her protegies into power.

What the fuck has the internal machinations of the Labour Party got to do with setting water prices in Scotland? you mean you dont conveniently understand the nuance behind every labour (and tory) branch manager in scotland complaining they cant set autonomous scottish policy without london approval?
I will let that sink in pacifico while you drink your limescale tap watter .
