So, what's the difference between socialism and communism? lefties defining Socialism = lefties gaslighting . Communism = no private property. Socialism = communism lite. It covers a broader range . It could mean some might be able to own a business or property . When lefties manipulate the definition enough to claim higher wages and NHS is a sign of a socialist state then it becomes meaningless. So I don’t accept that socialism = what you want it to be . Socialism is a collective society where the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. That definition will accommodate some private ownership but it doesn’t include a Sweden or the UK Darlene . So, what's the difference between socialism and communism, then?

You can deny it if you like. Good luck persuading us you spent your childhood cleaning chimneys.

You are insisting that Capitalism must be completely controlled by market forces or it’s not capitalism. Anything else must be socialism. The part about chimneys is just something you made up in your head . The lefties that groomed you told you to that when you lose the argument..you do that a lot.

No, Ben Dover. Marx's dialectic says that the history of capitalism will be a history of compromise (struggle) with socialism. Can you explain how capitalist market forces extended the franchise, increased labour rights, and created the NHS. Or do you concede that these things have resulted from left-wing agitation? You know, that class struggle thing Marx explained.

Labour rights originated from the struggle of unions . Unions were originally craft guilds . Unions forced the employers to concede by controlling and withdrawing labour . That isn’t socialism. A system paid for by a levy ( the NHS) equals a socialist state ? So the US is a socialist state because it has a transport system that is paid for by tax dollars ? Pull the other one Darlene .

Socialism will continue to make strides. Only this week we saw capitalism lose more ground as increased restrictions were placed on how landlords may deal with their property. The Conservative Party is becoming increasingly socialist, just as Marx predicted.

But the UK is becoming increasingly socialist, as this week's Landlord and Tenant legislation indicates. How many of those nasty EU laws are going to be repealed, by the way, Rubber?

It looks after their interests at work by doing things like: negotiating agreements with employers on pay and conditions. discussing big changes like large scale redundancy. discussing members' concerns with employers. Socialism ..political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. They not the same Darlene and one can exist without the other. Unions didn't exist to create a collective society they existed to squeeze deal from the employers for….wait for it Darlene …their members . Unions became politicised but the primary function of unions is not political. Nice try leftie 😁
