British crews backed by drones rescued 500 people from Channel in one dayAlmost 500 people were rescued from the English Channel on one day by British life-savers, newly released data shows. HM Coastguard (HMC), Border Force and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) took part in 11 responses on April 5. In the biggest single interception, 73 people were rescued and taken to Dover after two vessels from Border Force attended. metro.co.uk/2023/05/12/british-crews-backed-by-drones-rescue-500-people-from-channel-in-a-day-18774747/So it's official. This limp wristed left wing Tory government send agencies out into the channel to actively look for illegals, to bring them to hotels in England. This government is a fuckin disgrace. They are not looking after the best interests of this country or the people who fund it, their only desire is to cower to the EU. May, Boris and Sunak are traitors to this country and the British people. Harsh words, but very justified. And the worst thing of all is, Starmer is the alternative! I mean, was the phrase; out of the frying pan into the fire, ever so apt.

Vote Green as a protest vote Red. I may cast a protest vote however, I doubt it will be for the Greens.

Is it your contention, knowing that on any given day, there will be refugee seekers trying to cross the channel, that the UK should not sent out 'life-savers' to look for them? What our government does with them is, I agree a disgrace, but how do you thunk they should be dealt with?

It's the best chance of voting for an honest guy. Also if they are not expecting to get many votes due to the political hegemony, then your vote would at least cheer them up and give moral support.

You cannot gain entry to a nightclub, a football match, your house unless you have an invitation. I am not clear why a country should be any different. They leave France and should be turned around again to go back to France. That would stop the problem inside a few weeks especially if France did the same on her borders to the South.

The law says that is not allowed, are you advocating law breaking? Rubbish - You do not need an invitation to a nightclub or football matches, where exactly is it that you live?

Isn't the conservative government trying to get legislation passed to enable the home secretary to remove illegal immigrants from the country more quickly by tightening up who can come as well, creating more flexibility over where they may be sent, and creating a legal obligation for the home secretary to make it happen? While May and BJ didn't do very much, I find it unlikely said legislation has made it as far as it has without Sunak's support.

Of course you need an invitation, they invite anyone to attend and then you buy a ticket and if you have not got one then you do not get in. They arrive as law breakers so we are already in that zone.

No one has a right to break any law anywhere and expect everyone else to be the perfect citizen.

If a person kills some one in self defence the law may 'excuse' them but they have still broken the law.

They have to show self defence in law in which case the law is written such that they are excused. They are still held as having broken the law until showing otherwise.
